About this Cook
I love to try recipes out on this website that are new to me.
My favorite things to cook
Comfort food-especially in Seattle where the weather is gloomy for 8 months out of the year!
My cooking triumphs
Beef Wellington! I made it for my boyfriend's birthday last year with some risotto and green beans-I was very proud I pulled that one off!
My cooking tragedies
Soup--as silly as that sounds. I tried a cheddar veggie soup on here and it was awful! So now I'm a little weary of soup :)

Blueberry Sour Cream Coffee Cake
Oh my! Thank you so much for this recipe! I followed the instructions exactly EXCEPT I used sliced almond pieces instead of pecans and increased the amount of blueberries to two cups. SOOOOyummy! The end result is a moist, sweet and tart coffee cake. I will definitely be saving this in my recipe book

Banana Peanut Butter Bread
What a great combination of flavors! Plus a nice simple recipe that results in a beautiful, moist bread. I added half cup of chocolate chips and mmmm mmmm!

Country Fried Steak and Milk Gravy
A pretty good and basic recipe. I just made the country fried steak following the recipe and used an envelope of country gravy mix. Yummy for trying to make it for the first time
