Paprika Chicken with Mushrooms

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2010
I may have completely changed the recipe, but I really liked how it came out! I also dredged the chicken in flour before browning. I sauteed the onion and garlic then removed it from the pan before browning the chicken. After browning the chicken, I put the onion, garlic, mushrooms, spinach and a can of diced tomatoes (garlic kind) on top. I also added about a half a cup of cream. I served it over penne noodles.

Baked Oatmeal II

Really delicious! I used soy milk, 1/2 c apple sauce instead of butter, 1/2 c brown sugar, and I only had one egg. I also added pecans. Very tasty.

Emily's Famous Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2010
This was so good! The comment about this tasting like chili worried me a little, but it doesn't taste like chili to me! I love it! Used green pepper instead of red. I used 1 lb. of ground beef, so I tried to just use 2/3 of each ingredient - I'm sure I didn't get everything right exactly, but it is still really good!

Eggplant Burgers

Would have been better if I had read to peel them. Definitely PEEL them. And I sprinkled with pepper and baked. Ate with hummus, avocado, and lettuce.

Zucchini Parmigiana

Really good, I've made is a few times now. All with different variations. I don't think you can mess it up. I think there's too much cheese in the recipe, and not enough zucchini.

Slow Cooker Cranberry Roast

The gravy was soooo salty. And the flavor was ok, but I found the sweetness weird. I didn't really like the flavors together much.

Lemon Butter Chicken

Great! I will try it on all sorts of stuff. I used this on tilapia tonight, and used raspberry vinegarette instead of Italian dressing.

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2009
The first time I made this it was sooo salty - so the next time I used a can (14 oz) of low sodium beef broth and one half of an onion chopped instead of the onion soup mix and water. I left out the wine and added 3 tbs of balsamic vinegar. I left out 1 tbs of soy sauce and added 1 tbs of worchestershire. It didn't come out as tender as the first time, but it was still really good. 1st Review: delicious - almost too tender though. i left out the wine, added 3 tbsp of balsamic vinegar, and about 1/3 c extra water. i left out one tbps of soy sauce, and added 1 tbsp of worchestershire. i tried to turn the sauce into gravy but it was waaay too salty. i also turned the crockpot up to high about halfway through.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2009
I did what people recommended, and made double the sauce. I added most of it. It definitely needs more spices, will try garlic next time. Somehow, this came out kind of sweet... not sure how. I also added some broccoli, and boiled everything in chicken broth. Will definitely make again. Oh, and cooked at 375 for 45 min.
