I'm a housewife/Photogragher. I have three kids ages 7,3, and 2. I love to cook. I'm always coming up with new ideas or adding things to old recipes. I hardly ever write down my recipes because I change them so much. When I don't have anyone to cook for which is rare I cook for my dogs. I have a German Shepard, Doberman, and Lab. They love when they get new treats.
My favorite things to cook
I love to make pies. I have just prefected the double crust Cherry pie. I've changed the design in the crust many times and it's really fun. I like to make my own crust with a great recipe I got from All Recipes. I also like to make jell's. I really like the peach jalapeno.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Thanksgiving mom and I work hard in the kitchen making all the family favorits. A couple dishes we never go without is fruit salad, deviled eggs, homemade rolls, sweet potatoes, cranberry salad and the list goes on. Every Christmas morning we make homemade biscuits and gravy.
My cooking triumphs
I have my Cherry double crust pie that I make during the holidays. Its a favorit to everyone and I'm always getting requests for it.
My cooking tragedies
My mother makes the best fuge I have ever tasted. I have followed her recipe as perfect as I can and still have not made fuge. It comes out so hard it will break teeth or to soft its more like pudding. I haven't given up I'm still working on it.
