Mushroom Round Steak

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2011
This recipe was just OK for us. The gravy turned out to be a little sweet for our taste. I think it was the Ketchup which sweetened the pot...(excuse the pun...LOL). I will try it again, but next time I will omit the ketchup.

Perfect Baked Jerk Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2011
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this chicken!!! This is the first time we tried jerked chicken of any type, but it will not be the last. I poured the oil in with the seasoning like PrincessJenna did and let it work for about 6 hours. Delicious!

Breaded Ranch Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2011
I have been looking for a good breading for baked chicken and I believe I have found it. This breading was delicious! I used it on bone in chicken pieces and bumped the time up to an hour or longer as needed. The breading turned out golden brown and crispy but the chicken was still juicy. Great recipe! Thanks.

PJ's Sweet Potato Mash

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2011
My family and I were never big sweet potato eaters but I wanted to try something new. These potatoes were pretty tasty but I think I may have used the wrong horseradish. I used extra hot course ground and the flavor was definitely noticeable in the dish. Next time I will try a milder form. Overall the potatoes were delicious and not too sweet like most sweet potato dishes. Thanks for the recipe.

Cranberry Apple Stuffed Pork Loin

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
Excellent recipe!! My family loved it, and they are very picky when it comes to pork. I did do a bit of tweaking but not much. I brined the meat overnight for a juicier roast. I used pork flavored stuffing mix and 2 different apple types (Granny Smith and Gala). I also cooked a tube of ground breakfast sausage and added it to the stuffing (a stuffing tradition in our house). The roast turned out extremely moist and tender. This dish will be repeated many times. Thanks for the recipe.
