Pork Chops Stuffed with Smoked Gouda and Bacon

I always make a recipe the first time according to the instructions and then tweak it next time. As written, I found it on the bland side. It needed a sauce or marinade. The meat itself was juicy because I used thick cut, center cut pork loin chops. I definitely liked the taste of the smoked Gouda. I did not like the taste of the parsley. If there is a next time, I will substitute spinach for the parsley, add apples (as others have suggested) and either brush it with a soy sauce marinade like Yoshida's or make a gravy.

Smoky Grilled Pork Chops

I followed this recipe exactly. I liked it a lot only it was just a bit too salty for my liking. I am not salt sensitive nor do I watch it for health reasons. It was just salty on the tongue. I will definitely make it again and either cut back on seasoned salt or substitute kosher salt.

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

I thought this marinade was very tasty and it yielded a very juicy flank steak. I used fresh basil and parsley instead of the dried herbs.

Easy Honey Mustard Mozzarella Chicken

Very tasty and easy! I don't like when people review a recipe with changes, but....I just made two tweaks. I substituted turkey bacon for the regular pork bacon and I added cornstarch to the liquid to thicken it up a bit. I loved it!

Veal Marsala

I have been making this recipe for years and realized I should write a review. I use it with veal or chicken and pretty much follow the recipe. It is absolutely one of my most favorite recipes. I do, however, use 1/2 cup of marsala wine. I also remove the chicken/veal from the pan once browned. I then introduce the mushrooms, let them cook down and add the marsala wine. Once the wine comes to a boil, I put the chicken/veal back in the pan, spoon the mushrooms and wine over the meat, cover and simmer so that everything combines.

Crustless Spinach Quiche

This was great and very tasty. I adapted some suggestions from previous reviews such as using 2/3 of the spinach, adding tomatoes and using 2 whole eggs plus 1 cup of egg whites. Will definitely make again.

Baked Pork Chops I

This was supposed to be the last time that I make pork chops because no one likes them. Everyone liked these and I can't wait to buy more pork chops to make again! Thanks for saving the pork chops on my family's menu! The chops were "fall off the bone" tender and the sauce was just right.
