California Cherry and Walnut Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
Fabulous! I used fresh cherries instead of dried and sunflower seeds instead of walnuts. Also used raspberry vinaigrette from this site.

Cheese Fondue

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2009
I'm writing this as my dear friend suffers from eating too much- this was great, to say the least. It started a teensy bit too thick, so I added about 1tbs of lemon juice and maybe 1/4 cup of light beer to thin it out. For 5 people there were no leftovers. My friends thought it was just as good as the melting pot (I've never been) for about 1/10 of the price! :)

Candy Red Apple Martini

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2009
This is a great martini for those who don't care for a strong vodka taste. You can't taste the vodka at all. It tastes like a candy apple- a very very grown-up candy apple! All of my guests enjoyed it!

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
AMAZING! I subbed a 1/4 cup of splenda for the sugar. Also, I made an insane topping by melting some dark chocolate (lowest sugar content I could find) and mixing in enough half and half to make a fondue-like frosting. You saved my low carb diet with this recipe! THANK YOU!

Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
I'm a big fan of green bean casserole so I was hoping this would be a broccoli version. Not so much. This was kind of "gloopy". Too much soup and mayo. I don't think I'll make this again...sorry. :(

Baked Salmon II

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
Awesome! I baked at 350 for about 35 minutes as I had a side dish already baking at that temp. Also, I didn't have a lemon so I omitted the pepper and sprinkled everything with lemon pepper.

Sangria! Sangria!

Excellent! Kelcampell- I had to laugh at your review- Sangria originated in Spain- NOT Mexico! No wonder this didn't taste right to you! LOL!

Mini Cheesecakes III

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2008
Remarkable!! I can't stand when people use Nila wafers as a shortcut, so I knew this was the recipe for me. It's also a wonderful portion since it's only my husband and I. I doubled the lemon juice and zest (Personal preference only-I love lemon) but otherwise followed this exactly! I also topped them with a mixture of sour cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Heaven!

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2008
Pretty good- It wasn't really garlicky enough for us so I added 2 tbs of garlic powder and 1 tbs of onion powder to the breadcrumb mixture. I was skeptical about cooking the chicken at such a high tempurature, and while the coating did burn a little, the chicken came out alright.

Bill's Blue Cheese Dressing

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2008
Initially, I did not think I was going to give this 5 stars as it tasted a little bland when I first prepared it. I just ate more (2 days later) and WOW! It really does get better the longer it sits! Thanks for the recipe.

Broccoli with Garlic Butter and Cashews

Very good! The sauce was a tad bit too sweet for me, so next time I'll cut down on the sugar. Other than that, wonderful!

YUM! This recipe was delicious and really fresh. The only thing I changed was adding shredded cheese to my taco out of personal preference. Simply out of this world delicious!! Thank you so much for sharing the recipe!

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Came back to change my rating to 5 stars. I used budweiser wing sauce mixed with quite a bit of Frank's red hot. Also added cheddar cheese and onion.

Amaretto

Very good! It's not quite as "thick" or sweet as DiSaranno, but it is still delicious! I made an amaretto sour with it and it was very good.
