Grilled Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2012
I made this for breakfast the other day and served it wil turkey bacon and fruit. Instead of bread though I used La tortilla whole wheat wraps. I just put the peanut butter and bannas on one side and folded it over. the wrap only has 80 calories so its a healthier option. delicious! Husband loved it!

Glazed Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2012
Awesome is all I can say! I followed the recipe with the exception that I used 1 pound mild italian sausage and 1 pound ground turkey. I also used 1 cup italian bread crumbs instead of bread and no onion added. This was amazing! Remember to double the sauce so you can dip it! My husband raved about it and took all the left overs to work and ate them all!! Definitely a repeat for my house!

Pepperoni Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2012
this was awesome and so easy!! I used my homemade spaghtti sauce and also used fusilli noodles instead of Rotini. A HUGE hit at my house but I will follow other suggestions for next time. That being that I will layer the cheese mixture- meat and noodles, then cheese mixture, then meat and noodle mixture, then the cheese mixture to top it. We love cheese! You will love this recipe!

Saucy Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2012
the ONLY reason this got 4 stars is because of the spiciness. I like spicy food but my husband not so much. I didnt think it would be as spicy as it was but it lit my poor husbands mouth on fire lol. I also used red wine vinegar instead of cider (because thats what I had) The sauce was delicious and we will definitely make it again but with no chili powder. Maybe just some chili flakes for a kick instead. A great recipe though!

To Die For Fettuccine Alfredo

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2012
This alfredo sauce was very good however I didnt love it. I have made alfredo with the olive garden recipe and I love the richness and depth of the flavor. this was very close but it missed something for me in the fullness of the sauce. I believe that the egg adds a richness that I like. Its very good though and easy to make!! :)

Delicious Deep Fried Pickles

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2012
I LOVE deep fried Pickles and was so excited to try this with my husband. I love th recipe except that the breading on my pickles came off some of them in the oil and also slid off when we picked up the pickles :( My oil may not have been right but who knows... I think i will try this awesome beer batter recipe I found on this site to make fish tacos. I would have given it 5 stars if my breading hadnt of fallen off.

Seared Ahi Tuna Steaks

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2011
this was only OK. Granted I did overcook the tuna (whish was my fault) but I felt it lacked flavor, with the exception og when you ate a peppercorn. I agree that the texture of the peppercorns were great and tastey but other then that I desired more of a punch of flavor.

Fish Tacos

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2011
Wow! I love fish tacos but never thought I would be able to make them myself. This recipe is a keeper for sure! I changed some things due to what I had on hand. I didn't have dill weed so I used a teaspoon of dill pickle juice. I omitted the jalapeno and used a mixture of the yogurt, mayo and also sour cream. It was fabulous! The batter was awesome too! I added some salt after they came out as recommended and it was amazing! When we put the tacos together I used fresh cilantro And fresh homemade pico yum! We will make this over and over!

Greek Potato Stew

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2011
This is a first for me but I did not like this and I was bummed because I love all the ingredients. I really like bold flavors and I felt like this recipe was bland. I needed to have an olive in each bite to have any flavor. Also the sauce was... Well there was none. I even added water and by the end it was just mush. Its too bad cause I was hoping to like it.

Pico de Gallo

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2011
This was awesome and so delicious! I made this for my homegroup game night and eveyone wanted the recipe. crazy thing about me is I usually am not a fan of tomatos or onion but with this dish I can eat the whole thing! The only things I did differently were add a little more fresh garlic and cilantro and a tablespoon of vinegar!
