Blueberry Raspberry Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2011
This was the best pie I have ever made. Followed the recipe to a T. I cooked it at 400 degrees and it took about 65 min. to get nicely browned. It was a HUGE success at my dinner party. Thank you so much.

Pecan Sandies

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2009
Mine did not look like the picture, at all. Did not rise and kind of fell flat. They're edible, but they taste of cream of tartar or something. Why not just use baking powder? I did substitute butter for the margarine, and split the cup of white sugar, using 1/2 white and 1/2 brown as suggested by two reviewers. I just wasn't that impressed with these cookies overall. Sorry.

Lemon Custard Pudding Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2008
I don't know what I did wrong, but I didn't like this recipe. My husband did so I gave it a 3 star. It took too many bowls. After combining the first 3 ingred. I mixed it with an electric mixer, and by the time I added the egg yolks, the milk, lemon, and zest, the first 3 ingred had hardened so I could hardly mix the rest of it in together. It was all downhill from there. I'll never make it again even if my husband did like it. It was too much work for a really mediocre flavor.

Beef Stroganoff III

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2007
I made a few changes and it turned out fabulous. I used 1 lb sirloin steak instead of the roast, yellow onion instead of green onions and fresh mushrooms instead of canned. I also added 1 tsp minced garlic. I simmered for 1/2 hr, boiling down the liquid. Then added sour cream, splash of dry sherry (instead of white wine) prepared mustard and paprika. This recipe was excellent.!!

My husband and I love this recipe. I think it is so much better baked in the oven, rather than fried. Simply delicious!!

I omitted the bell pepper, greens and celery, and it still was a fabulous coleslaw.
