All-Natural No-Bake Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2013
I followed this recipe as directed EXCEPT I did not boil the liquid as one reviewer recommended. These are really good! & they do set up quickly :) 5 min in the freezer! I may cut back on the honey as they are a little to sweet for me.

Caramel Apple Pie II

Reviewed: May 1, 2013
Everyone that has tried this loved it. The carmel was kind of tough to work with. I tried squares, cut up into smaller chunks. That was a lot of work! Next time I'll buy the carmel apple wraps and use them. Thanks for submitting.

Delicious! We put dried blueberries instead of raisins in and the whole family loved them! Easy recipe to follow--this was my first time making scones. We will make again!

Whole Egg Mayonnaise

Reviewed: May 9, 2012
This recipe works great, every time. I will just say it again, all ingredients MUST BE AT ROOM TEMP or it will not emulsify. I had that happen once. Great tip with the paper cup idea!

S'Mores Pudding Dessert

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2011
This never set up for some reason. I followed the recipe to the "T" and it was s'more soup. Also, step 4 says remove the plastic wrap. From where, the cupboard? I'm assuming you should line the pan with plastic wrap BEFORE putting anything in???

Black Bean Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2011
This is really good! I used pinto beans since I ran out of black beans. I think the black beans would have been better though. I also used olive oil instead of veg oil and I added some diced celery.

Red Salmon Pate

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2011
I made a double recipe the other day. I looked at the insane amount of pate in the dish and was expecting to throw at least 1/2 of it away since I expect our three kids (4, 7, 8) to turn their collective noses up. NOT SO. The kids devoured it! I made the recipe as shown but added 1 tsp of liquid smoke (remember, doubled the recipe). I'll add more next time. I also used a food processor.

This was my first time cooking Fennel and Celery Root. It tasted delicious! I forgot to steam the onion with the other veggies but it was still wonderful. I used Parmesan cheese.

This was super easy and so good. I added ham and red peppers and we really enjoyed it! The secret must be the rinsing. Thanks for a great recipe!

Hash Brown Quiche

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2011
This was good. We would like the "crust" to be more crisp. Next time I will cook the hash browns longer before adding the toppings.

Absolutely Ultimate Marinade

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2011
This was great! I used thinly sliced strips of sirloin steak, marinated for 4 hours. Then I dumped the entire thing, marinade and all, into my wok and stir fried the whole thing. We served it with stir fried veggies and basimati rice.

Picnic Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2010
So very good, we used hazelnuts instead of walnuts. This was easy and delicious! The crust is a bit unusual, while I was mixing I had expected it to be more of a batter but it was very crumbly. Still turned out nice.

Kid-Friendly Taco-Burritos

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
We loved the fold! It worked great for the kids and the parents loved it too! I didn't follow the recipe since some of the reviews said it was too salty, but made my own version of tacos with only a pinch of salt.
