Crackle Top Molasses Cookies
These are delicious. I always worry about cookies being too cakey on not chewy enough given that I live at 7,000 feet but this required no alterations (just don't use convection or they won't collapse and crackle as they should). Thanks for this foolproof classic!

Chocolate Pound Cake III
I was worried at first because it seemed a bit greasy out of the pan, but I let it cool, wrapped it up and kept it for the next day. When I cut into it 24 hours later it was moist and rich and delicious. Half of it went into a chocolate cherry trifle and the other half was thoroughly enjoyed all by itself.

Shaved Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Almonds
I agree that this recipe is a great crowd pleaser, but 4 pounds of Brussels sprouts is WAY too much. I used half that amount with the same amount of the other ingredients and it worked perfectly. I served it for 8 people and we had plenty of leftovers, which reheated surprisingly well.
