Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2010
Very good! The meat cooked perfect (I used a dutch oven at 325* for about 5 hours) and was tasty and tender. The dipping sauce was a bit bland though, so next time I may use the beef consume instead of the broth. I will definitely be making this again!

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Absolutely delicious!! I used the suggestions of half white half brown sugar and OJ instead of water. I also added in the zest of the orange I used for the juice. They are perfectly spiced.

Extreme Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2009
This is the same recipe I use that was handed down from my grandmother. It actually originated on the back of a Hershey's cocoa powder can. I make this for all special occasions to rave reviews!

Basic Baked Spaghetti

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2009
Very good. I took the other suggestions and seasoned the ground beef with garlic powder, salt, pepper & italian seasoning. I also added pureed squash to the sauce so I could sneak in some veggies for the kids.

Kelsey's Favorite Stuffed Green Peppers

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2007
Very good! I tweaked it a bit and made it more Italian style by using 1 jar spaghetti sauce. First I cooked the meat & onions seasoned with salt & pepper, then added 1/2tsp crushed garlic and cooked for 1 more min. I put 2/3 jar of the spaghetti sauce in the meat mixture and added 1/2c grated parmesian cheese. There is enought meat to fill 5-6 peppers, and I just blanched them for about 5 minutes so they were green and crisp. I covered the bells with the remaining sauce and topped with more parmesian. Mozarella would be a good topper still, but I thought it would have been a bit overkill. They turned out great and flavorful, even my 2 & 4 year old ate them up!!
