Slow-Cooked Pork Barbecue

I was a bit apprehensive making this recipe, it was just too easy. It was marvelous, the barbecue sauce mixed with the cola was a great pair. This recipe makes quite a bit, so it can definitely be frozen for use at another time. I will absolutely make this again.

New Waldorf Salad

Wonderful salad!! I added about 1/2 cup of chopped celery to make it a bit more like the traditional salad. The citrus dressing added such a nice fresh flavor. I will definitely make this again.

Lemon Blueberry Bread

Delicious!! I added a few more fresh blueberries. I also use fresh lemon juice and lemon peel, I really think that makes a difference. The bread had a dense texture with loads of blueberries and walnuts. Very good. I have made this recipe several times for different functions and there are never any leftovers.

Chicken Kiev

The taste was sensational, but I am such a klutz when it comes to rolling up chicken breasts. I filet them, pound them thin, but it never looks like the pictures. I used fresh lemon peel, garlic, chives, parsley with the butter, it was so tasty. This recipe is definetely a keeper.

Holiday Pumpkin Bread

Excellent!! Light, flavorful, awesome. I, too, cut the sugar down to 2 cups, and substituted 1/2 c. applesauce for the oil. Very delicious.

Tangy Grilled Pork Tenderloin

Excellent marinade. I only wished I had doubled the recipe for extra sauce. I used 3 tenderloins, so I didn't have any leftover sauce to serving. I received many compliments.

Libby's® Pumpkin Cranberry Bread

The best!!!! I, too, substituted applesauce for the oil and doubled the cranberries. Very good, moist, and it's a good thing I hid one loaf in the freezer. Next time I would add a little more pumpkin pie spice.

Easy Walnut Raisin Biscotti

Great recipe, although mine didn't turn out very eye-appealing!! I added dried cranberries and pecans, and they were difficult to slice, they fell apart. I pushed them back together and baked another few minutes and they turned out fine, but not appealing enough to give away as gifts. They tasted great and will try again using finely chopped cranberries and nuts.

Tim's Green Bean Casserole Extraordinaire

A very nice change from the traditional green bean casserole. I made this for a pre-Christmas dinner and everyone loved it. I added some bacon and used the french-fried onion rings. I also cut back on the sour cream. This recipe is definitely a keeper.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew IV

So very good and easy. I used a couple of red potatoes,a yam and a baking potato and it was delicious, no need for thickening. Of course, I added some garlic. At the end of the cooking I added some frozen peas for color. The family loved it

Thanksgiving Leftover Casserole

I have made this recipe twice in one week after Thanksgiving. My family loved it and also my guests. It was so easy and really emptied my refrigerator from all the leftovers. I seasoned the sauce mixture, added more cheese, and some turkey gravy on the mashed potatoes. And of course added a lot more than 1 cup of turkey.
