About this Cook
When I was young, I lived with my mother, who left for work before I was up usually, and often got home after I was in bed. Thus, at the age of 9, I had to learn to cook, or else have fast food three meals a day.
My favorite things to cook
After living in Thailand for a while, I love cooking authentic Thai food. So far I have only found two restaurants that cook better Thai food than me, and one is in Thailand.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I don't really have any family cooking traditions, other than making big family meals on holidays, and having everyone over.

Easy Skillet Chicken a la King
I would give this 5 stars, but I tweaked it by adding peas, diced red and green pepper, and some friend onions, so in fairness I can't give a recipe 5 stars when I haven't cooked it as it is.

Vegetable Biryani
I made this for some friends, and not only did I love it, but my friends said they'd never had better in any restaurant.

Korean BBQ Short Ribs (Gal-Bi)
I made this for my wife and I last night. I came across some 'last day of sale' boneless short ribs at the local grocery store and had to try it out. My wife has an allergy to garlic, so I left it out, and I'm not sure that the garlic is even necessary.. Of course, I haven't tried it with the garlic, but it was superb without it. Absolutely excellent! I look forward to trying the marinade with regular beef ribs next time I get them.
