Sweet and Sour Chicken I

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2012
Awesome recipe with some modifications. After reading another reviewer's suggestions, I added seasoning to the batter, onion powder, garlic and some seasoning salt. Otherwise I followed the recipe as is... fabulous!!

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2012
These brownies are so simple yet always result in such moist, rich treats! My friends cannot get enough. As others have recommended, I make some small changes. I use 1 and 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 and 1/2 cup white sugar and the only other change is that I use kosher salt. There do not disappoint.

Lana's Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2012
This was a fabulous recipe that many people raved over! As others suggested, I doubled the sauce recipe. As a quick meal idea I have also used the sauce with store boughten meatballs and the result has been great as well!

Megan's Granola

Reviewed: May 2, 2010
Wow, this is amazing! It tastes great, makes a bunch and is easy to make and customize for one's personal preferences. For me, I used 1/2 c canola oil and 1/2 c. applesauce, added 1/2 cup flax seed and used almond extract instead of vanilla for a different taste and baked it for 21 minutes at 300 and it turned out perfectly. Buying all of the ingredients upfront was a bit of an investment but in the long run, will pay off and if you're like me, I've never found the "perfect" granola in the store for me, but now I've got the recipe that will change that forever!

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
Despite what several reviewers have said about not being able to taste the cream cheese, it was evident and not authentic alfredo sauce in the opinion of my family. We will not eat this again.

Oven-Baked Caramel French Toast

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2008
This will definitely become a staple breakfast item at our house. I took another reviewer's advice and used one less egg and 1/2 cup less milk and it wasn't soggy. I didn't add nutmeg either. Also, took make it "a little" more healthy I used butter spread instead of real butter in the caramel mixtures and it still turned out great!

Chocolate Trifle

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2008
After reading the rave reviews of this recipe I couldn't help but try it out at my sister-in-law's bridal shower. It was a total hit, even with the guests who didn't typically like chocolate. I personally found it to be a bit too sweet for my liking but everyone else loved it! Next time I might try it with a cake mix as another reviewer suggested.
