Whole-Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2011
I was craving chocolate chip cookies but I realized I only had whole wheat flour on hand. I found this recipe and gave it a try. I am very pleased! This recipe was very easy to make and the cookies turned out great. I would never know that it was whole wheat flour. The dough was a little more dry than I wanted, but I just added a smidge of milk to thin it out. I'll definitely be making these again!!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2011
This is the best apple crisp I've ever made. It is easy and tastes great! I only had about 7 cups of apples and I did not add any water. It turned out great! I am very pleased and I will definitely be making this recipe again.

Allana's Excellent Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2010
I've never made potato soup before, but this recipe sounded good. I did modify it a bit. I used bacon instead of ham. I used cream of chicken soup instead of cream of celery. I added some pepper and used minced garlic instead of garlic powder. I mashed up the potatoes a bit and added some cheese to make it creamier. I loved the soup. It tasted great, it had enough spice and was thick and creamy. Overall this is a great recipe, it just needed a few changes to make it even better.

Fabulous Foolproof Lasagna

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2008
I made this for dinner tonight and it was wonderful! I omitted the meat and just made a cheese lasagna & it turned out great. My husband and I loved it! Like others had suggested, I used 2 jars of tomato sauce and it was JUST enough. This lasagna turned out so much better than the last recipe I tried. It's very easy, and we loved it because it wasn't sloppy. The layers stayed together when we served it. A+

Mall Pretzels

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2007
This is a great recipe. The dough is very easy to work with. The tip about letting the ropes rest before you finish rolling them out is key. They stretch a lot better, once they've sat out for about 10 minutes. They don't taste exactly like the mall pretzels, but they sure are yummy! Especially brushed with melted butter and garlic salt.

Soft Pretzels

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2007
These pretzels are very good. I had to keep on adding flour because the dough was really sticky at 1st. But once I got the right consistency, I was able to form them into the pretzel shape. After they were done baking, I brushed the pretzels with melted butter and sprinkled them with garlic powder & a little bit of salt. YUM.

This was so quick and easy! I cut the recipe in half, added garlic powder, dill, pepper and broth from cooked chicken in the crock pot. It turned out great. Really tasty! I will definitely be making this again.
