About this Cook
A few years ago all I'd "cook" was pasta, pizza, pizza rolls, and maybe some hamburger helper. I did not really start cooking until my husband and I moved into our home last May. I started watching the Food Network a lot. I started experimenting with different recipes and it just came naturally! Almost everything I've ever tried making came out wonderful.

Meatloaf is easy and I love it.

We have angel food cake with strawberries and whipped cream for almost every family birthday. Yum
My cooking triumphs
My meatloaf & lasagna. I call them a triumph because my husband says he likes mine better than his mom's!!
My cooking tragedies
I tried making a chicken and rice casserole in the oven. I added too much chicken broth, so it was very liquidy. I wanted to add a crunchy topping, so I topped it with crushed tortilla chips and breadcrumbs. Since there was so much liquid, it just ended up as mush! Nasty

Cream Soup Base
This was so quick and easy! I cut the recipe in half, added garlic powder, dill, pepper and broth from cooked chicken in the crock pot. It turned out great. Really tasty! I will definitely be making this again.

Whole-Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies
I was craving chocolate chip cookies but I realized I only had whole wheat flour on hand. I found this recipe and gave it a try. I am very pleased! This recipe was very easy to make and the cookies turned out great. I would never know that it was whole wheat flour. The dough was a little more dry than I wanted, but I just added a smidge of milk to thin it out. I'll definitely be making these again!!

Apple Crisp II
This is the best apple crisp I've ever made. It is easy and tastes great! I only had about 7 cups of apples and I did not add any water. It turned out great! I am very pleased and I will definitely be making this recipe again.
