Grilled Salmon with Habanero-Lime Butter

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2010
The flavors did not come out at all on my salmon. I marinated it in a ziploc bag for 2 hours. I followed the recipe exactly as listed and the only flavor came from the butter sauce, which I would have rather avoided to keep it a heart-healthy meal. I will try marinating it longer next time.

Jo's Rosemary Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2009
It's a bit salty (but not too salty), which I confess makes it tasty. I will try it next time with 1/4 teaspoon less salt. Also, I haven't eaten at the macaroni grill in over 5 years - but everyone is right, it tastes just like their bread - it hit me when I took the first bite. It was delicious.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2009
I doubled the sauce like a few reviewers suggested, but that was not necessary. The original amount probably wouldn't have all fit in the pot pie anyway, close, but probably not all of it. Also, I found the chicken didn't all fit either, I would use about half. If you're conflicted, I suggest making all of it, and saving what you don't use, to pour over rice or pasta the next day :) Anyway the recipe was delicious, and an amazingly perfect sauce!!

Chocolate Mint Cookies I

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2009
Fantastic cookies. I made one change: I added about 1.5 Tablespoons of cocoa powder (to a half-batch) to make them super-chocolatey. I also used Ghiradelli 60% cocoa chips instead of semi-sweet. They turned out fantastic, thanks for the recipe.

Buttery Soft Pretzels

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2009
The recipe turned out great! I added just a pinch of salt to each pretzel after the baking-soda bath. Once they came out of the oven, I tasted them to determine if they needed more salt to top the butter I brushed on top. It didn't need any more salt, so I was happy I only used 1/4 of what the recipe called for as the topping. I used all of the salt it called for in the dough, however.

Pumpkin Cookies V

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2008
Absolutely fantastic. I was suspicious at first with the 'cake like' description, and I was doubtful they'd turn out. They were AWESOME, and a huge hit with everyone. I've passed this recipe around to so many people now. It's a must-try :)

Mary's Roasted Red Pepper Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2007
AMAZING! As suggested by others, I also used pepperjack cheese at it was an excellent substitution. I puree'd the roasted red peppers in the blender, with the juice from the jar - it worked out great. I made this in advance and put it in the fridge overnight. I heated 1/4 of it in a dessert-size corning ware dish, and it took about 20 minutes to heat thru.
