Chicken and Biscuit Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2010
This is always a favorite for my family and have pleased many guests with it. The only change I made was to use jumbo refrigerator biscuits instead of the homemade biscuits.

Three Berry Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2009
Fabulous!!!! A new family favorite. We froze the remainder of the pie dough we prepared Thanksgiving week so the whole pie was so easy. We plan to make it again for New Years Eve.

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2009
Yummy!! I brought this to 2 events this week and both times it disappeared. I had fresh spinach on hand so I steamed and drained it. I Forgot to chop it but I think it added flavor that way. Everyone thought it was great the way it was. I served it with pita chips which worked well. This is a keeper.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2009
My husband proclaimed "These are the best pork chops I've ever had!" I agree! I browned them a little longer and initially baked them for only 40 minutes before adding cream of mushroom mix. The chops were very moist and the sauce was wonderful.

My husband and I loved this dish. I pounded the chicken thinner and doubled the sauce. Also added capers the last 10 minutes.

Rosemary Chicken with Orange-Maple Glaze

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2008
My teenage son and I loved this recipe. It was quick, easy and yummy. Served it with steamed carrots which went well with the maple flavor. Leftovers made a nice lunch today.

Honeyed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2008
THIS RECIPE DIDN'T COME OUT THE WAY I THOUGHT IT WOULD. I EXPECTED A MORE STICKY HONEY GLAZE RATHER THAN A THIN SAUCE, ALTHOUGH THE FLAVOR WAS GOOD. MY TEENAGE SON THOUGHT THE CHOPS WERE A LITTLE DRY. NEXT TIME I WILL REDUCE THE COOKING TIME OR USE BONE IN CHOPS. ALSO, I'LL REMOVE THE CHOPS AND REDUCE THE SAUCE UNTIL THICKENED. MY HUSBAND LOVED IT JUST THE WAY IT WAS.

Beer and Brown Sugar Steak Marinade

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2008
This was easy and the steak came out tender and juicy. I used bone in NY Strip. I would give this a 5 star but my son rated it 4.5 and my husband gave it a 3(he's not a marinade fan). Will definitely make again.

Christmas Eve Beef Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2008
We thought this stew was wonderful. We don't like a thick pasty stew so we thought it was perfect. Didn't change a thing.

Favorite Pot Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2007
This was my fisrt time making this recipe. My family loved it!!! My husband was always a fan of the pot roast bag appraoch but I longed for my mom's cook on the stove recipe. This reminded me of what I thought pot roast should taste like and he agreed. Our teenage son just gobbled it up! The gravy came out a little too thick so I thinned it with beef broth. It was wonderful. This recipe could also be used in the summer because it cooks on the stove. Maybe on a rainy summer night when you can't use the grill. Enjoy
