Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
My husband has requested that I make this recipe at least once a month, which is fine by me since it is so easy to make! I usually make it with chicken tenders and serve it with vegetables to avoid having to shred the meat. So simple!

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2009
This recipe was AWESOME, with a few minor changes. Instead of using melted butter, I creamed softened butter with the sugar. I used mashed bananas instead of sliced. I also added about one tsp of cinnamon for a little extra flavor. Will make this recipe over and over!

Mint Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2009
My coworkers request this cake often, as they are all to afraid to try making frosting on their own. But it couldn't be easier! I usually bake this in a 9x13 pan. There is no need to freeze the cake before frosting at this size, as there is the perfect amount of the mint frosting. (There is a little too much of the chocolate glaze, but no worries- tastes great right out of the bowl!) I have tried it in the bigger pan, and it was much more difficult to spread the frosting. Very easy in the 9x13!!!

Nutty Peach Quick Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2009
YUMMY! This recipe was awesome! It tastes more like a coffee cake than a bread. I made it exactly as written, with the exception of decreasing the amount of milk and replacing it with the leftover juice from the peaches. It was difficult to get the bread out of the pan without losing all the topping, so next time I will bake it in a cake pan or make it into muffins. This recipe is definitely a keeper! Thanks for sharing, Ron!

Tasty White Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2009
Not a fan of this bread. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but both times I made it, it came out WAY too dense. Will not make again.

Bacon Water Chestnut Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2008
I'm a vegetarian, so I cannot attest to the taste of this recipe. However, after watching my fiance devour a whole (still really hot) batch, I think they turned out well! After reading other reviews, I also used whole water chestnuts wrapped in half a strip of bacon. Cooking them for 45 minutes instead of 30 before adding the sauce worked well. I've made this recipe twice in one week, and I intend to use it again. Thanks for a great recipe!

Cucumber Sandwiches II

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2008
This recipe was really easy to make, and tasted great, too! The spread stores really well in the refrigerator if you don't want to make the whole batch at once.

Chocolate Snowballs

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2007
The cookies were very good, but VERY chocolatey. I think I would make the cookies much smaller next time. The flavor was good and they were very easy to make.

Pistachio Cream Cheese Fingers

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2007
These cookies tasted great, but weren't the easiest to form. Like the other reviewers said, the dough was too sticky to make "fingers" easily. I will probably try to make them into another shape if I make these again.

Caramel Apple Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2007
This coffee cake was awesome! I used all applesauce instead of the oil, and it turned out great. Even with the sauce poured on top, the coffee cake stayed good for the 4 days it lasted in my house. I used a little less of the caramel sauce on top than the recipe called for, and there was still plenty of caramel taste. Will definitely be making this one again!!!

Coconut Chocolate Slices

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2007
Delicious! This recipe was pretty easy to make, though I had a hard time making the cookies look round- mine were always flat on one side! The cookies actually tasted better after they had been in the freezer for a week, so can definitely be made ahead of time.
