Oh my goodness! This stuff is WONDERFUL! Very addictive also. Only change I made was that I left out the extra salt. Great recipe, thanks!

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2010
wonderful dish! First made this for a family Thanksgiving dinner about 3 yrs ago and it disappeared quick! Make it a couple times a month at home, usually as a side to a chicken entree. Print extra copies and be prepared to pass them out!

Mushroom Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2010
Very good recipe! Like other reviewers, I added S&P, garlic and onion powders, and Italian seasoning. Sautee'd my fresh mushrooms in cooking wine and olive oil. Added the cream about 20 minutes in, followed 5 minutes later by the mushrooms. Topped it with the grated parmesan when the timer went off, turned off the heat and let it sit a couple minutes before removing from the oven. Served it on a bed of buttered linguini. Next time I'll use a smidge more cream so we'll have more sauce for the noodles. My family loved it! Will definitely add this to my dinner menu.

Texas Taco Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2009
the family LOVED this soup. The peppers give it a bit of a kick, but I think you could use a can of Rotel as well. Also, I used a can of chilli beans and a can of pintos. Next time I'll try black beans. This one's a keeper.

Italian Biscotti

Reviewed: May 26, 2009
This recipe makes the BEST biscotti ever! I did substitute almond extract for the anise as some other reviewers suggested, and tried several variations such as half white and half brown sugar, added a couple drops of vanilla, added dried cranberries, added walnuts, added slivered almonds, tried dried bluberries, etc. A good basic recipe that you can play around with and make your own by what you add to it or the combinations you come up with. Also drizzled/dipped some pieces in chocolate and white chocolate. Excellent...thanks for submitting!

Linguine with Chicken and Sauteed Vegetables

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2009
Great dish! I used fresh veggies instead of frozen, and doubled the amount called for. Also used whole wheat linguini and olive oil. Don't skimp on the cilantro or the garlic, as it adds tons of flavor to this simple, yet delicious dish.

Banana Spice Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2008
The family loved these cookies. I was out of ground cloves, so I omitted cinamon and substituted ground allspice instead and they turned out fine. After the 2nd dozen, I added chocolate chips to the remaining mix. Good with storebought cream cheese frosting too. Will definitely make these again.

Fried Green Tomatoes

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2008
I tried this version after misplacing my mom's recipe. Thought it was absolutely delicious! I'd never tried the cracker coating before, we always used cornmeal. Will definitely make these again.

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2008
An absolutely GREAT recipe! I only made a couple changes: I cut the parmesan/bread crumb mixture in half, and after I finished frying the coated pieces, I popped some fresh sliced mushrooms with some zuchinni and yellow squash that I'd julienned (sp) into the pan with just a smidge of extra olive oil. Served all with angel hair pasta on the side to make a complete meal. My family loved it!

Ground Beef for Tacos

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2007
My family Loved this recipe! I only made a few changes... I doubled the recipe (to feed 3 teens and a hubby); I added 3/4 cup salsa (Hell on the Red brand) and 1/4 cup ketchup and a dash of garlic powder. This we rolled up into soft tortillas with some fresh chopped tomatoes, shredded green leaf lettuce, and sour cream. Great for a quick night's supper when everyone's going to soccer practice, football, band, etc.
