Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies

Garlic Chicken

I've made this 4-5 times now. Including once for a Christmas party for a few of our friends and their families. After one bite, my friend's 8 year old son asked "Who made the chicken?" When told it was me, he ran and hugged me and said "THANK YOU!" So, it's child-approved. I've served this with a baked potato and veggies as well as with spaghetti and marinara sauce. Both ways are excellent.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

These were AMAZING!I followed the recipe as is. The only thing that I wasn't sure about is that it personally tasted like there was a little too much clove. But, I tend to have a special sensitivity to the taste of clove. Next time, I think I might half the clove. I made a dozen last night and my husband ate 5 that night. I got two, and the rest went to work with him the next day. I plan on making more for a Christmas party coming up.

Best Ever Cheesecake

perhaps I didn't do it right, but nothing about this cake was good (except the crust, which was yummy). the cake itself was VERY lemony, and the texture was just not right. I kept checking to make sure I was doing everything correctly and it LOOKED okay, but I was not pleased with the taste.(my husband liked it though).

tasted good, but a tad yeasty. I'm thinking next time I might had a few seasonings to it. definitely makes two crusts (or one very thick crust).

Easy Mexican Hot Chocolate

I just made this because I've had it on my list for a while, and finally decided to try it. It was GREAT! My husband loved it as well. I'm thinking that I may increase the milk content and decrease the water (or just use a cup of milk and skip the water entirely.) I would definitely add the dry ingredients then the water/milk, then the chocolate syrup; it seemed a bit lumpy once I got to the end...but definitely worth making again!

Soft Sugar Cookies IV

Growing up, my aunt always made sugar cookies for every occasion, and I always hated them. (others raved over her recipe, but i found them really bland and flour-y). This recipe is GREAT! now that I've found this, I don't think I will ever use another. I used the Sugar Cookie Frosting recipe from here on top, and everyone LOVES 'em.
