I've made these several times to take to different gatherings with friends. They always go over well. :)

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: May 6, 2009
I've made this 4-5 times now. Including once for a Christmas party for a few of our friends and their families. After one bite, my friend's 8 year old son asked "Who made the chicken?" When told it was me, he ran and hugged me and said "THANK YOU!" So, it's child-approved. I've served this with a baked potato and veggies as well as with spaghetti and marinara sauce. Both ways are excellent.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2008
These were AMAZING!I followed the recipe as is. The only thing that I wasn't sure about is that it personally tasted like there was a little too much clove. But, I tend to have a special sensitivity to the taste of clove. Next time, I think I might half the clove. I made a dozen last night and my husband ate 5 that night. I got two, and the rest went to work with him the next day. I plan on making more for a Christmas party coming up.

Best Ever Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2007
perhaps I didn't do it right, but nothing about this cake was good (except the crust, which was yummy). the cake itself was VERY lemony, and the texture was just not right. I kept checking to make sure I was doing everything correctly and it LOOKED okay, but I was not pleased with the taste.(my husband liked it though).

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2007
tasted good, but a tad yeasty. I'm thinking next time I might had a few seasonings to it. definitely makes two crusts (or one very thick crust).

Easy Mexican Hot Chocolate

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2007
I just made this because I've had it on my list for a while, and finally decided to try it. It was GREAT! My husband loved it as well. I'm thinking that I may increase the milk content and decrease the water (or just use a cup of milk and skip the water entirely.) I would definitely add the dry ingredients then the water/milk, then the chocolate syrup; it seemed a bit lumpy once I got to the end...but definitely worth making again!

Soft Sugar Cookies IV

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2007
Growing up, my aunt always made sugar cookies for every occasion, and I always hated them. (others raved over her recipe, but i found them really bland and flour-y). This recipe is GREAT! now that I've found this, I don't think I will ever use another. I used the Sugar Cookie Frosting recipe from here on top, and everyone LOVES 'em.
