Home Style Macaroni and Cheese

Delicious stomach stuffing meal. My husband didn't love it. He thought it was too thick. There wasn't a ton of flavor to it, but, to me, it was thick and hearty. Very home cooked feel. I added diced deli ham to the mix to add some protein to it. I would make it again for sure.

Chocolate Chip Kiss Cookies

I like softer chocolate chip cookies. These came out crunchy and flakey. They are more like shortbread with chips in them.

No Time to Cook Chicken

This is a great recipe for busy moms who don't feel like cooking when they get home. I substitute the cream of celery for cream of mushroom and serve over egg noodles to make it more like a stroganoff.

Slow-Cooked Chili

This is the perfect-for-everyone chili. We have quite a few sports parties and always serve this chili. Everyone comes back for seconds. Served with some good crusty buns it makes for a delicious meal. Not too spicy, which is nice when cooking for people with various tastes.

Oven Roasted Potatoes

This has become a staple side dish at our house. We omit the red pepper flakes and do a few potatoes for our young daughter, then add them in and do ours. My husband eats his plain, I like mine with sour cream. Delicious

Steak Tip Marinade

This was easy to make, but it was just okay. I like my steak to have a little bit more flavor to it. Normally, I just put on montreal steak spice and throw it on the grill. My husband wanted to marinate them, so I tried this one.

Slow Cooker Spare Ribs

I'm not a big meat eater and I LOVE these ribs. My husband and I used to have these almost every Sunday during the winter. They are the perfect meal for two. If you have to feed more people than that, you may want to up the poundage. The only change we've ever made is subbing tomato soup with Knorr Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Soup, for a little extra kick (not extra spice, just extra kick)
