Great recipe with wonderful flavor. I will certainly use this one again. I added a little cumin to the crockpot. Good stuff!

A and Z Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2011
I had to add extra garlic, cilantro, and more salsa seasoning just like the other reviewers noted. This can be a tasty dip, you just have to add some extra ingredients to get it there! It's pretty bland as is.

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2011
Wow! I've been searching for recipes that bring that restaurant flavor to my table. I will search no more. Hands down, this is the best shredded beef recipe I have tried. I can't stop eating it! As previous reviewers suggested, I used chicken broth rather than water. I omitted the salt because of the broth. I served this on toasted buns and the result was fantastic! I would give it more stars if I could!

Wonderful soup! Contains great tastes that come together nicely. I used some frozen fajita meat that I had on hand. Delicious! This is my new favorite.

Monkey Bread III

This recipe didn't get as gooey and delicious as other recipes I have tried. Save the biscuit dough and the calories for a recipe that's worth it. Keep looking.

Classic Banana Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2009
My kids are banana bread freaks so I doubled this recipe right away. I filled a bundt pan and had enough to make 12 additional muffins. This recipe bakes into a nice, fluffy, and moist bread. It's a little more on the "cake" side of the street than the banana bread recipe I am currently using. I've tried a lot of different banana bread recipes. This one ranks right up there with the best of them. We'll make this one again.

Soft Giant Pretzels

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2009
Oh, so easy and so delicious. I wish my bread maker had a bigger capacity. My family loved them and my husband said they were better than the pretzels at the mall. I can't wait to make them again.

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Totally awesome, deliciously moist. My kids now wait for the bananas to get black spots so we can make these. Go ahead and double the batch right away - you won't regret it.

Mini Ham And Cheese Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2009
I made this recipe for a family birthday party and everyone loved them. We made pastrami and pepperjack and ham and swiss sandwiches. The bottoms and tops were deliciously crunchy. This is a simple recipe with big taste. The results are much more impressive than the actual amount of work you put into them.

Chocolate Chip Muffins

I made this recipe for my son's school snack. It was a big hit. His friends told him he brought the best snack ever! It is incredibly moist! This is a very easy recipe with great results. Can't go wrong on this one.

Slow Cooker Venison Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2009
Wow! I just made this recipe and I am THRILLED with the results. I used 2 cans reduced fat cream of celery soup rather than the mushroom because of family tastes. I also added 1/2 soup can of water and I sprinkled in about 1 tsp of beef bouillon granules. I also added carrots and potatoes and omitted the onion soup mix. As others mentioned, I used the real onions and real garlic. The gravy was incredible. I found myself sneaking out some potatoes before it was supper time. Next time I'll be sure to add more. This was a roast from a small deer and it was very tender. (I did soak in milk overnight.) I will never let my husband tease me for harvesting a small deer again. This meal makes up for it!

Gingerbread Waffles

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2008
My family (kids age 6 and 3) adored this recipe. It was very sweet - we didn't have the whipped cream and used syrup. My husband had a better idea for the waffles. We took the warm waffles, added vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup on top. What an unforgettable dessert! Great taste combination! Double the recipe - this will be loved...

Bread Machine Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2008
I made some changes that took this recipe to the next level. Rather than add garlic powder, I added 10 cloves of fresh roasted garlic and 1 tbsp of cracked pepper. WOW! This will make your sandwiches rock! I can't wait until lunch...

Split Pea and Ham Soup I

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2008
I've never made split pea soup before - my husband always makes that nasty stuff from the can - ughh. This recipe was simple so it was a great place to start. I added garlic (I can't cook with out it). The soup was good, but nothing to write home to mom about. Now that I've made it once, I'll probably experiment with other recipes and flavor additions. All in all, it was a simple, tasty soup without a bunch of bells and whistles.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2008
This recipe lives up to its name. It had great flavor and a rich consistency. I added garlic and shredded carrots into the mix. It was even better the second day. This will become a favorite way to deal with the extra ham at holiday time.

Meatball Sandwich

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2008
My kids and husband loved this meal. They snapped up the sandwiches like crazy. My 6 year old pronounced my the best cook ever. This will be a regular in our household. I doubled the recipe right away and froze the extra meatballs as suggested. Next time I will add a layer of pepperoni in the sandwich.

Crispy Chicken Strips

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2008
Very tasty and very versatile. There's lots of room for creativity with this recipe.(Seasonings, ect.) I used eggs instead of butter as others have mentioned. I was out of rice crispies and used corn flakes instead. My family really enjoyed this meal. It will become a "go-to" meal at our place.
