Mandarin Orange Cake I

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2008
This was ok, not worth the calories. Cake was ok, not much flavor. Followed the recipe exactly as written. This will not be made again.

New Potatoes with Caper Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2008
Wonderful, the flavors blend well together. I had to make my self stop eating them. I made one change as I didn't have green onions, so I used dried shallots and it was still great. Thanks Michelle great recipe.

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2008
Great, nice, juicy and flavorful. This will be made on a regular basis. Very tasty. Great flavor between the garlic and lime. I added extra fresh garlic outside what was called for in the recipe.

Death By Garlic

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2008
Pretty good, it needed a bit more seasoning. I love garlic, but it still needed some seasonal.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2008
Chocolate heaven. These are moist and dense at the same time. Watch cooking time so the bottom doesn't get to dark. Make sure you have lots of milk to eat them with. Will now be a staple in my house, I love that this recipe uses cocoa instead of chocolate squares.

Gooey Butter Cake III

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2008
Not impressed with this at all. The crust is dry, the filling is very sweet although I followed others suggestions and only used 2 cups of powdered sugar. I also waited until the next day to taste per others. Won't make this again.

Italian Butter

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2008
This was great. Next time I would lessen the red pepper as it had quite a kick, but I can only imagine this would also make a great meat rub. So many possibilities. I added the crush garlic right before use, that way the dry mixture will last longer.

Lamb Chops with Balsamic Reduction

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2008
Very good base recipe. Made this per instruction, I think it needs a bit more seasoning. The amount is not enough for the four chops. The sauce was great. Will definately make again, except next time I could either grill or bake the chops with a bit more seasoning, I would not change the sauce.

Spinach Salad with Peaches and Pecans

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2008
Very tasty. Did not use pecans but switched with candied walnuts. Will make this several times while peaches are in season.

Peach Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2008
Wow these were great, I used fresh strawberries instead of peaches becuase that is what I had on hand, I still used the pecans. They were terrific, can't wait to try with peaches. I think you could interchange any fruit. The strawberries were fresh. I just slice and put a little cinnamon and sugar on them while making the batter.

Honey Lime Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2008
I believe these have potential to be tasty. I made them with boneless chicken breast which got a little dry when frying. Next time whether I make them with wings or chicken breast I will bake them, would keep them juicier and healthier. The sauce was great.

Cream Cheese Squares

OMG these are wonderful. I can now save money in the morning. Instead of buying a pastry at almost $2.00 I can whip up a batch of these real quick. I couldn't even wait for these to cool.

These were great. Make sure kitchen is warm enough in order for the dough to rise. I made two batches one standard and one I sprinkled cheese on top. Both were great.

Peach Cobbler VI

Very good. I did double the peaches as to me that is the best part. Cake texture which is the best to me. Sweet enough and very quick and easy to make. I will make this again and again.

Gorgonzola-Garlic Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2008
This dip was great. Spread on Tostitos. Spread straight from fridge. I was out of Red Wine Vinegar so I used Balsamic Vingegar. This would also be wonderful on top of a burger. It has lots of possibilities.

Deep Dark Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2008
This is good but not the best chocolate cake I have every had, it is easy to make so in a rush it will be my go to, but I will continue to look for the ultimate cake. If you make this no one will dislike it, but I am into chocolate.

Garlic Prime Rib

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2008
WOW, WOW, WOW is all I can say. No changes needed this was the best prime rib, better than anything I have every tasted at a restaurant. No other recipe needed for prime rib. The seasonings would probably turn any steak or chicken into a work of art.
