Pasta Fruit Salad II

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2013
Great dessert. I used instant white chocolate pudding mix with 1 1/2 cups rice milk. I didn't have fruit cocktail so we cut up an apple, added raisins and my glazed pecans made from this site. Was out of mini marshmallows so cut up big ones. Used 1 1/2 cans mandarin oranges. Didn't use all the cool whip and processed 1 1/2 cups of pineapple chunks. If you have a hard boil you need to use more water to boil orzo pasta. Boiled for 7 minutes then drained. We had friends stop by as I was making this and I served up 9 bowls and have alot left over.

Butternut Squash Soup II

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2013
My ten year old picky eater just told me my soup was off the hook. I think this is a keeper. I used vegetable broth in place of chicken broth.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies III

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2013
I love this recipe, I did add less chocolate chips. I didn't want to open a big can of pumpkin so I pureed 1 1/2 cup raw ground up butternut squash in my vita mix. We use alot of butternut and have the ends that we grind up for breads. I added 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice (made from recipe here on all recipes) and cookies are wonderful. Had to bake 10 minutes. Making second batch now and put it in a 9 inch square brownie pan. Looking forward to it as well.

Breakfast Sausage

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2012
Thank you, Thank you, we have been trying to find a breakfast sausage recipe and this one is great. We ate it right away and the flavors were mild, believe the seasonings will be stronger in the morning. We used beef as we do not eat pork, looking forward to trying turkey.

Pork Lo Mein

Reviewed: May 3, 2009
Great starter recipe. It is easy to add to depending on what you have. I did not have pea pods or gingeroot. I added sauted onions, carrots and mushrooms. It needed the green color for presentation and so I only had frozen peas and it worked great. Also out of thin spaghetti so used thin fettucini noodles. It was delicious.
