Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2011
Thank you so much for sharing! I make this on nights when my BF and I feel like having Chinese but I don't want the guilt of take out food. I always double the sauce (we like it hot so I double the Crushed Pepper too) and mix in a bag of mix veggies (Asian blend). So good, so quick! Thanks!

Curried Pork Chops and Cauliflower with Basmati Rice

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2011
I thought I would post an idea for people who are like me, AKA trying to watch Calories and big lovers of Curry. (LOVE IT) If you put the cauliflower in a food processor and chopped it up to about rice size, then microwave it covered for about a minute 30, it is a great Basmati rice substitute! It cuts the calories in half! But only nuke the Cauliflower in the portions you need it. That way if you have leftovers you just put the raw cauliflower in a dish with the curry over it and it will cook when you heat it all up together. Hope this helps someone! And thanks for the recipe! :)

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2010
WOW!I must admit when it comes to pancakes I usually take the easy way out and leave it up to Auntie J, but woke up this morning craving pancakes, with no mix in the house and no desire to go to the store. They were AMAZING! Thank you to kris for explaining that the 'sour milk' is actually a sub for buttermilk, don't think I would have tried it without knowing that. No more mix for my house! THANKS

Yummy Yam and Pineapple Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2009
I make almost exactly the same thing every year for Thanksgiving. the only thing i do different is add some maple syrup to the yams (about 1/2 to a 1/4 cup depending on how big your sweet tooth is) I also just use canned yams to make life a little easier.

Strawberry Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2009
very easy, yummy, great way to use up strawberries before they go bad. Did change a little bit, i added 1/2 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp of cin. and a 1/4 cup dark brown sugar than sprinkled sugar on top before baking. Additions made batter a little dry so added about a tablespoon of evaporated milk (i was out of milk)the result were the Perfect Breakfast muffin. Also made the strawberry butter mention by Saved by grace. Went together perfect wouldn't make them without!
