Frozen Peppermint Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2007
Every year we have a contest to see who can make the best pie. This recipe won, but personally I didn't think it was anything special and I wont make it again.

Chicken Breasts Pierre

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2008
This is a staple in my house now. I always seem to have the ingredients on hand. When I became a vegetarian I started subbing chickpeas for the chicken and still tastes wonderful. I bet tofu would be great too. Thank you Nancy!

Would have been better if I marinated it over night.

I added ketchup to the S&S sauce to get the red color as I didn't have any food coloring. Tasted great!

White Chocolate Mousse Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2010
I added a tsp or so of peppermint extract and it was wonderful! It tasted just like a white chocolate peppermint mocha. It definitely makes enough filling for two pies

Middle Eastern Rice with Black Beans and Chickpeas

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2011
Thanks for the recipe! Love it! We make it about once a week now. Instead of using all those different spices I just throw in some curry powder.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Wow! I'm never adding flour to my peanut butter cookies again! These were to die for. I did use half white sugar and half brown and added the vanilla as others suggested as well. Thanks everyone!

Chard Tacos

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2012
Very good base recipe! I used collard greens and spinach instead of the chard. I would have used veggie broth instead of the chicken to make it truly vegetarian but I was out so I used water instead. I also put some fresh homemade salsa, avocados, cilantro, black beans, and squeezed fresh lime juice on ours. With all of those extras it felt heavy enough for a main dish. Next time I'll add some corn to it and skip the queso fresco (expensive although good) and just use whatever cheese I have on hand. I also served it with spanish rice II from this site. Excellent! Thanks for the recipe.

Key Lime Cheesecakes with Raspberry Swirls

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2012
These turned out perfect! I used blackberry preserves and made sure to mix it with some water first to make it easier to swirl. I also added slightly more zest and some coconut to the crust. This recipe won my family's dessert competition this year. Everyone loved it. Thank you Jessica!

Vegetarian Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2012
Loved it. Although I agree three cans of chiles would be too spicy for my taste so I used two cans of tomatoes with chiles already in them. Definitely add black beans to it to make it heartier.
