Accidental Fish

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2013
This recipe was absolutely delicious. I added some cut black olives, and red pepper sliced then, and honestly my husband who doesn't care for fish even ate it! It's a must try recipe for sure.

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2011
Fantastic recipe. I added a 1/2 cup of shredded mozzerella cheese to this and baked in the oven at 325 degrees for a 1/2 hour. Would make this again in for sure.

Excellent potato salad! Best I have ever had! Thank you for the wonderful recipe. I added a little bit of crumbled bacon to it once it was done on the top, and everyone raved about how good it was.

Pumpkin Pecan Biscotti

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2010
I tried this recipe as it sounded very interesting and I make biscotti all the time coming from an Italian family. I found it to be very dry and no flavor at all. I was very disappointed and will not make again.

Texas Sheet Cake I

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2009
I will have to say, this is by far, the easiest cake to make. In a previous review, they said the cake was "crumbly." I can't even imagine what they did wrong. It's a no brainer to make. My mother made this all the time for a crowd, and it turned out perfect everytime! Delicious taste with the right amount of frosting. Excellent submission and I would highly recommend this cake to anyone.

Mountain Apple Cobbler

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2009
This dessert is wonderful served with ice cream. It's a great idea, when they are fresh from the oven, to let them sit for about 10 minutes to absorb some of the juice in the pan. I have even cut down on the sugar as it's a little overwhelmingly sweet. Wonderful and simply easy could sum up this recipe. I have been making these for years.

Easy Polenta with Tomato Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2009
This recipe is so delicious and extremely easy. I wouldn't change a thing. Polenta is a very budget friendly meal to make. I added grilled zucchini and red peppers to the top once it came out and it was great. Great recipe once again Jacquita!

Mushroom Blue Cheese Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2008
These burgers are better than any other burger I have ever served my family. I left out the blue cheese and grilled them in a pan, which holds them together better then on the grill. I used the fresh mushrooms and not canned also. Simply terrific recipe. I make all the time for my family.

Chocolate Trifle

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2007
I made this dessert for a gathering with my family. I used vanilla pudding instead of chocolate, because all that chocolate seemed like a little too much. It was unfortunately a little to sweet for my liking. I would maybe suggest using cake instead of the brownies next time to cut the sweetness. Overall great recipe and idea.
