Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: May 12, 2009
Very good, quick and easy. I will definitely make this again... my picky kids had seconds - that hardly ever happens! I used the pre-sliced ham (for sandwiches) and italian seasoned bread crumbs. YUM!

Feta Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2008
This is excellent. I made it exactly as instructed and wouldn't change a thing (although I did use fat free mayo...) I served this app for a birthday dinner and everyone loved it- I will definitely make this one again.

Mini Ham And Cheese Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2008
These were delicious. I made them for a get together with both kids and adults- and they were perfect. If you live in the south and have access to Sister Shubert rolls- they made these sandwiches SO GOOD!

Chocolate Trifle

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2008
Oh- SO GOOD! I brought it to a group dinner and everyone was fighting over it. I have been asked to bring it to the next dinner already! It would have been perfect exactly according to the recipe, but I added just a few things for my own personal taste. I used brownies with chocolate chips in them, I crumbled the brownie rather than cut into squares, on top of the layer of brownies I drizzled a little caramel sauce, then on the top of the last layer of whipped cream I added crumbled Heath bar pieces. YUM!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2008
This was delicious. I forgot to pick up the heavy cream at the store so I used skim milk instead- and it still turned out very tasty.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2008
These were fabulous... I made one batch, tasted one - then went ahead and made another batch because I knew I did not make enough for this family! I did use brown sugar for the topping instead of white and added an extra 1/2 cup of blueberries- but other than that I followed the directions exactly. I can't imagine a better blueberry muffin!

Angel Hair with Feta and Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Reviewed: May 24, 2008
This pasta is delicious! I don't like sun dried tomatoes so I added cooked bacon- it was AWESOME! I made this with the marinated grilled shrimp skewers on this website. This meal is what I call "company good"!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2008
This is delicious- I followed the advice of using the mini chips and the satiny glaze. It was a hit at the party I went to- we all could not stop eating it. I will definitely make this again!

Angie's Dad's Best Cabbage Coleslaw

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2008
I love it- it reminds me of the slaw at Chic-fil-a. My husband said it was the best he has ever had. I did cut the sugar, oil, vinegar, and mustard by half and used a 16 oz bag of tri slaw- and it was perfect. I thought it was actually better the first day- personal preference- I liked it better crunchy... and it gets sweeter over time. If you are like me and don't like mayo- this is the perfect coleslaw recipe.

Home Style Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2008
I followed the recipe exactly, with the exception of the bread crumb topping (ran out of time)- so I just sprinkled cheese on top- it was wonderful. I never liked homemade mac-n-cheese because I don't like eggs in it- so this was perfect. The bit of mustard really makes it... I will make this again!

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2007
This apple pie recipe is GREAT! I followed some advice and cut back on the apples, but wished I hadn't- I could have used a few more. I mixed 3/4 of the sauce with the apples and 1 tsp of cinnamon then poured the rest over the lattice top. It looked great and tasted even better.

Upside Down Pumpkin Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2007
I made this for Thanksgiving and was told it was the best dessert on the table. I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out great. I prefer to eat it cold, but it was also good warmed up with ice cream. It is good for a pot luck because it makes a lot!

DELICIOUS! I followed the advice of adding the 1/4 cup of butter and TBS of flour and it set up perfectly. I would heat it up with ice cream- YUM!

Baked Corn I

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2007
I made this for Thanksgiving- and it was fabulous! My husband said it was the best thing on his plate- and he is a picky eater! The only change I made was I only added 3/4 cup of butter and it turned out great. I do think I will cut back to 1/2 cup next time.

Oh-So-Good Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2007
My husband and I both liked this recipe, but we thought it might be missing "something." Next time I might use a bit hotter salsa and throw in some black beans. It is still very good :)

Italian Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2007
This soup was delicious- and even better the next day. My husband suggested adding the pasta next time and a bit more tomato- it reminded him of the pasta fajoili at Olive Garden. This is a definite keeper.

This was a hit at the party I brought it to. I went a little conservative on the cilantro- but will add more next time. Very good!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2007
Delicious! I made several small loaves to give to friends, and received rave reviews. In one batch I added mini chocolate chips - and I didn't think I would like these as much as the plain pumkin- but I actually loved it MORE. This recipe is a keeper.
