Pizza Rolls

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2010
I have made these many times. They are always a hit. I get requsts to make these quite often. You can use any fillings that you like on pizza. Mix it all together & roll them up. Ive used combinations of hamb., italian sausage, pepperoni, onions, mushrooms, green pepper, etc. whatever you like can work.

Upside Down Pizza

Yummy but made a few changes due to other comments here. Used pizza sauce instead of spaghetti sauce. I made this for a crowd so I used italian sausage, double the amount of ground beef and some chopped up pepperoni. Everyone loved it.

Cabbage Roll Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2009
This was ok. Mixed reviews from family. Two liked alot. Two didn't. I used brown rice and it was still a bit crunchy. I also used a bagged preshredded cabbage to cut prep time on a weeknight. Cooked while at Ty-kwan-do, came home to dinner done! Receipe made enough for family of 4 to eat plus leftovers to have a whole another meal of it again another day.

Good, everyone liked. Learned from my mistakes though, you don't need to cook the tortillas until they are hard.

Parmesan Chicken I

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2009
I made a few changes, I used turkey (DH won't eat chicken, I used brown rice, I used 1 can cream of mushroom, 1 can cream of chicken soup and I added an extra 1½ c. of water. I cooked on low for 6 hrs then went automatically to warm for 3 hrs. The turkey breasts were dry & tough and the rice had absorbed all moisture and was over-cooked mush. But that mush tasted great! Whole family loved the rice mush. Recipe could be great but maybe only half the crock pot time or not slow cooked at all.

These were pretty good with the cracker crumbs, but I still love using crushed stuffing best as breading .

Chicago-Style Pan Pizza

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2009
Well... my crust didn't turn out well. Tough and burnt. Couldn't eat the bottom. Filling was good though. Won't make this again. Easier to use store bought crust, not worth all this work!

Slow Cooker Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2008
This was okay. My problem is that I let it cook all day on low while at work. 11 hrs. Way too overcooked. Family ate some.

Easy Cheesy Chicken I

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2008
Easy, throw it in the crock pot in the morning and come home to dinner ready. I used Turkey breasts since DH won't eat chicken. Turned out well. If I make again I will try adding pasta at the end. Thats would use more of the cheese sauce that I had left over.

Easy Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2008
hmmmm. well it was okay. I used corn chips as my base and that was the problem. They got soggy and tasted more like corn bread mush. Otherwise it was good. maybe try with tortillas instead of chips. Or spoon the mixture on top of chips after baking.

Made 2 of these for family reunion. They were super! My changes were low fat cream cheese and I sliced my strawberries up as others suggested. I wasnt sure you would taste the white chocolate but you really can. Yummy!
