World's Best Lasagna
I read the reviews for recipes all the time. My favorite recipes on this site are the ones that do not need tweaking. This is one of those recipes. I am a very picky eater and will not eat anything that is mixed so I find it hard to cook for my husband. I have to trust the recipe and reviews that I read and wait for him to tell me how he likes something. He said this was THE BEST!!! I prepared the recipe just as stated except I added more garlic just because he likes garlic. I also read that it freezes well so I am going to try that because obviously it is way too much for one person to eat!!!! Thanks for the recipe.

Quick Chili I
I have never made chili before 1. because I don't like it and 2. because my husband always raves about his own. But I wanted to try to make him some to see what he thought. I used 2 1/2 lbs of ground chuck instead of 2. I used chicken broth instead of the water and used 3 TBLS of the tabasco sauce, I used two cans of kidney beans instead of 1 each of the kidney and pinto beans and I left out the sugar. I also added a half of a green pepper and a half of a red bell pepper. He absoltely loved this chili, he says its better than his own and that says a lot for this recipe. I have a hard time making things like this for him because again I don't like it and I won't taste it so I have no idea what good chili tastes like. But thank you for the recipe it was great and will definetely make it again for him.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew IV
Great recipe, I made just a few changes, I sauted fresh garlic with the onions, used only 2 onions, I replaced the onion soup mix with a package of beef stew mix. I used Merlot for the wine and added an extra half cup or so. Also replaced the water with beef broth. I cooked on high for the 30 minutes and then low for about 8 hours before I added the flour and water to thicken. Oh and I also added mushrooms and a can of corn to the stew mixture. My husband raved about it. By the way this is the first time I have ever made beef stew, mostly because I don't care for it, but he absolutely LOVED IT. Great recipe, thanks for all the reviews, they are great to get ideas from.
