Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: May 30, 2009
Basic but delicious recipe. Instead of the 1 1/2 C all purpose flour I did 3/4 C all purpose flour 1/4 C soy flour and 1/4 C bran for a little healthier version. My 3 year old daughter and I love cooking these on a griddle. We add strawberries or chocolate chips to some. We also add walnuts to some and she likes to dip those in honey! Yummy

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2008
I really enjoyed this recipe, my brother even asked me for a copy he liked it so much. I used chicken tenders and I think that caused it to dry out a little bit, or maybe i should have cooked it a little shorter since I was using smaller pieces. But it was still wonderful!!!

This was wonderful! I used a boston butt and served on a tortilla with mild green taco sauce and onions. These are definitely leftovers I'm looking forward too!

Brian's Easy Stuffed Flounder

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2008
This recipe was great! I loved it. Used a flounder fillet instead of a whole flounder and rolled it up with the stuffing in the middle. I halved the recipe for 1 fillet and had a lot left over, so I made it again with Tilapia the next night and I didn't like the Tilapia as much. Definitley recommend the flounder though!

Honey Baked Chicken II

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2008
I really enjoyed this recipe and so did my 2 yr old daughter. I followed the suggestions of other reviews and baked it uncovered for the last 20 minutes but it was a little too soggy for me. Wonderful flavor though! Thanks for the great idea

Spiced Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2008
This is a very good recipe with great flavor. I added baby carrots and potatoes for the last hour and they were wonderful. I used a rump roast & I think it really needed to be cooked longer, it wasn't as tender as I would have liked. I don't have a dutch oven and used a glass bakind dish covered with foil so I don't know if this may have been the reason it wasn't as tender as I would have liked. Other than that it was great! Will definitely use this recipe again!

Cinnamon Sweet Potato Slices

These are absolutely great! A simple, easy idea and Everyone loves them! The only thing to watch out though....if they sit out while the rest of the food is cooking, they will probably be half gone by the time dinner is ready!!!

Mara's Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2007
I cooked this recipe with 4 porkchops instead of 6 so I used 2 cups of tomato juice (actually V8). I forgot to change the proportions on all the other ingredients so it was probably sweeter than intended but definitley great! The pork was so tender and the meal went great with a fresh green salad with mixed berry dressing!
