Cheesy Creamed Spinach

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2009
This was awesome but I just used things I had at home. I used whole milk to make this and only used about a cup. I never have cream so I wanted to make sure it was okay to use just milk. I used 2 cloves of fresh garlic, just a little minced onion, and salt and pepper to taste in a saucepan on the stove in the milk. I wilted the fresh spinach in the microwave for like 2 1/2 minutes in a steamer. I chopped it up and added it to the milk mixture. I just kept cooking more spinach until it looked like enough. I had a huge bag though so that is why I could just keep doing that. I sprinkled parmesan cheese on the top and it was perfect. Thanks for the starter recipe.

Fresh Blueberry Pie II

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2009
I love blueberry pie so I tried this recipe. It is excellent. I did add 1/4 tsp. almond extract, 1/8 tsp Double Strength Vanilla, 1/4 tsp cinnamon to the flour, lemon juice and sugar. I only mixed this for a minute and then added the blueberries. I will add more blueberries next time. I cooked this for about 10 minutes constantly stirring with a whisk. You don't want it to burn. Cook the pie crust about 30 minutes before you are ready to make this mixture. I used fresh blueberries that I had in the freezer. They turned out great. Thanks so much for the recipe. I did not put another pie crust on top like the picture. It takes no time to make this. I could really impress by taking this somewhere.

Loved them! I love zucchini and I used seasoned breadcrumbs instead of regular. You get a lot of flavor this way. Thanks for the recipe.

Excellent Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: May 1, 2008
Very good! I used a whole bag of broccoli florets. I could have used more too but it was fine this way as well. This is so easy and very good if you like broccoli cheese soup. I would definitely recommend to everyone. Thanks for the recipe.

Honey Glazed Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2007
I loved this recipe. It is so easy and everyone loved it. I have a 5, 3 and 1 year old and a picky husband. I did double everything but the vinegar and oil. I do not like things to have a vinegar taste so I used what it called for in this recipe 2 Tbsp. I used 1Tbsp of sesame oil and doubled the other ingredients of honey, soy sauce and brown sugar. I added three cloves of fresh garlic. These things were suggested by others. I love honey so I just added more to the top of it while eating it as an extra dipping sauce to the leftover sauce in the recipe. My oven is small so I only cooked mine for an extra 40 minutes instead of 45. I think I will brown it in the skillet next time and cook it at 350 in my oven for about 45 and then check it instead of putting it my oven on 450. It was a little overcooked in parts but I think it is because my oven cooks quicker than most. Try it! You will love it. Thanks for the recipe!

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2007
Excellent! I no longer have to go to Olive Garden to get Alfredo sauce. So easy and so delicious! Thank you so much! The flavor is even better for leftovers which is great for my family. Use a silicone or nylon whisk though, so you don't scratch your nonstick pans. I used silicone and it did fine. I did use more parmesan. (about 2oz. more) I also served it with sprinkles of fresh parsley. I will try less milk next time to make it a little thicker. I used 2% milk and it tasted fine. I cannot wait to have it again.
