Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

I don't give too many 5 star reviews but these cookie bars tasted great and the recipe couldn't be any easier. I will be making these again and will be trying some different jams. I am thinking fig preserves would be great in this recipe.

Best Brownies

I did not make the frosting but the brownies were great. Contrary to some of the negative reviews the brownies were not at all like cake. Don't over work and over bake the batter. Next time I will add some chopped walnuts.

Ratatouille

This is a great base recipe for ratatouille. I did saute the onions and mushrooms along with the eggplant. I used an herb flavored olive oil which went along well with the flavors of the vegetables. I also did not layer the vegetables. I seasoned everything with salt and pepper, stirred in the cheese, and placed the mixture in a baking dish. I will be making this again, thanks for the recipe.

Chicken Wild Rice Soup I

My family really enjoyed this soup. I made the following changes, I used fresh parsley, used turkey instead of chicken, used turkey stock instead of the chicken broth, and replaced the sherry with dry white wine. The spices and seasonings needed to be adjusted for my taste, no way I could taste 1/2 tsp of curry powder in this much soup.

Cheddar Buttermilk Biscuits

I have made these as written several times and they have always turned out great. They rise really well during baking and the buttermilk gives them a wonderful flavor.

Fried Rice I

Made this with some minor changes. I used about 6oz of peas and only used two eggs. This may be the best fried rice I have ever had.

Sweet and Sour Pork III

This is a great recipe. I made a few minor changes. I reduced the celery to two stalks, added a sliced carrot, and I did not season the pork and the vegetables with sugar. I used some boneless loin chops for the meat. I will be making this again.

Buzzsaw's BBQ Sauce

I made this BBQ sauce to use on the chicken I was grilling this evening. I followed the directions given plus I added 1/4 tsp. of cayenne and one T of brown sugar. The sauce was liked by the entire family. Thanks for the recipe.
