Rave reviews from my husband and son! I was told this was the best breakfast I have made in a while :). Followed recipe exactly, used frozen grands biscuits. Enjoy!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2008
Very good recipe! My husband even asked if I could freeze some! Took a couple of shortcuts. Used half a bag of frozen, mixed veg and a large can of veg-all (larger cut veggies that included the onion, celery, carrots and potatoes). First I cubed the chicken breasts and cooked in chicken broth till tender 10-15 min, then added the veggies till warm, then made the sauce and I actually made half a recipe more of the sauce than it called for. I too added some poultry seasoning. I used a pre-made crust, so this was in the oven in no time. I didn't have a problem with a soggy bottom crust either.

Pepper Jelly Appetizer

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2008
This is a great appetizer, even better when you make the jelly using the Hot Pepper Jelly recipe from this site! People always request a jar when I take this places and it makes a great hostess gift as well.

Herb Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2008
This was WONDERFUL! I used a just over a 2# loin and the sauce recipe as listed. It was very tender and juciy. I did tent it with foil for the first 2 hours as someone mentioned and added a cup of water to the pan while roasting. I did sprinkle with poultry seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder and rosemary.

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2008
Very good recipe! My daughter loves banana bread and wanted me to make my old standby recipe....We have a new standyby. This was not too sweet and the sour cream in place of the butter was great!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2008
Just so-so. I did use 1/2 shortening and 1/2 butter. These are average at best, probably won't try again. :( 2/3/08 So, I tried this again and still not much flavor. My husband prefers his choc chip cookies to not be doughy tasting so I added a 1/2 teaspoon of corn starch to this as someone suggested to keep the middle soft and outside cruchy, but the cookies itself doesn't have much flavor.....my search continues.

Mini Cheesecakes I

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2008
Average tasting, my daughter said they look better than they taste. Took others advice and added some lemon juice. I also used regular size muffin cups with a singe wafer for crust and baked for 22 min, then shut off oven for 30 and left inside.

Bacon and Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2008
My family loved this recipe, definitely a keeper. Made exactly as stated, but I do think I will try pre-cooked, crumpled, real bacon to save time. Also, my husband requested the addition of chopped jalapeno next time.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2007
I am not a seafood lover, unless it is fried of course; this was wonderful! I did add a squirt of djion mustard, garlic powder and some bread crumbs to the mix and sprinkled fish with blackened seasoning before broiling. I also crushed a handful of potato chips and added to the top for a little crunch. Chopped a bit of cilantro and green onion for garnish. GREAT RECIPE!

Out of this World Turkey Brine

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2007
Lots of compliments on my turkey this year! I used 2/3 c. brown sugar and one quart of veg. stock in place of the water. I only brined for 12 hours, will try it for longer next year. I roasted in the oven and it was fabulous!

Pleasant Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2007
This was just OK. I didn't like all the paprika taste, but I will try again and use other spices. The gravy it makes is very good but I feel I ruined it by adding the paprika. I used chicken broth and white wine for the liquid. These were very moist chops!

This was GREAT! I did use the advice of someone else and only used 1 egg. Used a homemade sauce. Will make this again and again.

Speedy Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2007
These have been a family favorite for over 10 years! They are soooo simple and soooo delicious. Bar far better than the other recipes requiring you to make the dough yourself. I put the frozen bread dough into greased loaf pans and cover with plastic wrap before I go to bed and in the morning whip them up in no time. I cut mine into 12 and put 6 in each pan, I also tend to use a bit more whipping cream and it makes them all that much goooier! YUM

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2007
Not so great, tasted nothing like a cinnabon. I liked the idea of using the bread machine to make the dough, but I will not make these again. I have a much simpler recipe that uses frozen bread dough, and whipping cream that tastes much better than this one.

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2007
Quick and easy, we loved these! I too used cilantro instead of oregano, didn't have green onion so subbed with large white onion and added green and red pepper as well as mushrooms. I did add about one third of a package of ranch dressing seasoning mix while cooking and it worked great!

Cinnamon Rolls III

Did not like these at all, tasted nothing like the ones at the mall and very time consuming. I make one with frozen bread dough and whipping cream that is extremely easy and much better tasting!

Beef Stroganoff III

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2007
Very good! The only thing I did different was to cut the pieces smaller so they cooked faster and next time I will probably double the sauce. GREAT recipe!
