Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2014
Very good. Made two changes, I used spicy Italian sausage and spinach instead of cabbage. Very hearty. Served with sour dough bread

Black Bean and Corn Quesadillas

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
Love these! A great quick dinner especially for nights when hubby is on the road and I don't feel like cooking a big meal for just me and the kids. All three kids, ages 18 months to 6 1/2 years, love these!

Completely amazing. I don't usually do the kabobs. Just bake small pieces in oven in deep stone dish.

Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2008
Everyone that has had these can't believe they have a veggie in there. They are great. As others recommended, I halved the oil with applesauce. and used half brown sugar, half white. Kids love them, hubby loved them, I, a huge chocolate fan, love them. Even my dad ate them up.

Oatmeal and Applesauce Pancakes

Reviewed: May 14, 2008
Very good! I doubled this and added 2 T of sugar, extra cinnamon and the nutmeg. I thought they were thick, meaning cook time was longer, but they were pretty light. Everyone loved them in my house--big pancake eaters. I also love the fact that I can get in oatmeal and applesauce.

Really good. I doubled the topping as suggested by others. The bread was very spongy, light tasting. Big hit at my house.

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: May 12, 2008
With the amount of mac n' cheese my kids eat, I wanted to find something healthier. They thought it "looked funny" but ate it so well it was quiet at the dinner table. I skipped the butter for bread crumb topping and just sprinkled on bread crumbs. Excellent!

Easy Bake Fish

Reviewed: May 12, 2008
Very easy and good. I'm not usually a fan of salty/sweet, but this was a nice medium. More a hit of sweetness with zip of mustard. Family ate it up.

My family loved these! Super easy and delicious. I doubled the recipe the second time. I also used almonds instead of walnuts. Very good!

Good and easy, but dangerous to have in the fridge because I found myself grabbing one every time I went in.

Good, moist. I guess I make small muffins, though, since I made 48 with this recipe. Kids loved them!

Really good. It is a small loaf which worked out great at my house for snack time. Was good with butter, or with PB & J sandwich.

This was amazing! I would have never thought to use zucchini in this way. Everyone loved it. I used shredded zucchini that I had frozen from last summer. I did drain/squeeze out all excess moisture!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2007
Fantastic! In fact, I have to make them for company, because I'll eat them all. I did follow suggestion of flipping over pan so that all yummy stuff coats rolls rather than just sitting on bottom of the pan. Thought it was a great suggestion!
