Grilled Peaches

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2007
I love this recipe. I used port instead of the basalmic, because I didn't want to use up that much basalmic. It was tasty! They MUST be eaten right off the grill though. Went to munch on one later that night and it was YUCKY!

Classic Spanish Sangria

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2004
This is a great basic recipe. With these changes, I have never served it to anyone who doesn't like it. I use a bottle of blackberry merlot rather than dry red wine. I sometimes add half rum and half apricot brandy. I ALWAYS add peaches, strawberries, Kiwi, and sometime grapes to the citrus. Everyone loves scooping those up and eating them after they get to the bottom of the sangria. Don't skip on soaking the fruit in the rum and sugar for 2 hrs, and stir it up a couple of times during that 2 hrs.

Bobbie's Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2002
These cookies come out just right if you follow the baking direction just as it says taking them out of the oven after 12 min and then cooling for 5 min on the cookie sheet before removing to the rack. I added a little cinnamon and cloves to spice them up a little. They were so crisp on the outside yet soft and chewy in the middle. I didn't have any problems with the dough being too dry like some said. Try them and watch them dissappear. In fact......I think I'll go have another now :).

Coconut Poke Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2002
Everyone loved this cake. It's very sweet though so you'll only be able to eat a small piece. Would work well for a potluck.
