I grew up cooking. I always wanted to be in the kitchen. When I was in my 20's I worked in the restaurant industry for 8 years and did all the jobs available from waiting to cooking. Although I got a degree in Business and Restaurant Management I decided that I did not want to stay in the restaurant business> I then got a degree in Ornamental Horticulture and worked in the Nursery and Landscape business for 25 years. I am now retired. The last three years I was an adviser for a community garden and loved working with the people and teaching children about gardening. It was a joy to watch them and to see their expressions when they saw the plants sprout, grow and then being able to harvest the vegetables and eat them.

Roasted Pork Loin
Very good and moist but reduced cooking time. It only took 45 minutes for it to come to temperatures. The 2 hours seems over kill for a 2lbs roast.

Oh-So-Good Chicken
This was excellent and one of my daughter told me to put lots of extra happy faces on the recipe so I well make it again.
