I used to cook every day, my husband, children and family loved what ever I did serve. However my husband passed away over one and a halve year ago and since I hardly did cook. Over the years I improved this dish to our taste and I shared this recipie with my grand children who faithfully cook this dish almost every week. But it takes some time to prepare. To see how my family and friends enjoy my cooking. Trying to bake an australian sponge cake, they are made in two layers and very high. I tried to bake that for two years, and it always went almost flat after removal from the oven. At last after two long years trying to get it right I succeded, I was so happy and proud, turned the cakes carefully out of the baking tin to cool off, and had them sit on my children's little table. While cleaning my dishes and kitchen I happen to turn around and WOW, My Dingo ( yes I had a wild australian dog ) had eaten halve of my two layer sponge cakes. That did it for me. Never ever again did I bake the sponge cakes. What did I do with the two halve eaten cakes???? Well I did feed it in parts to the dingo. I did not want to throw it in the garbage. That would be waste-full
