San Antonio Taco Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2010
This was pretty good! I used taco seasoning instead of the other spices listed. I also baked the shells instead of fried. I probably should've baked them a little longer than 5 minutes though. We added hot sauce on top, it was so good :)

Taco Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2010
This was pretty good! Easy to make. I used corn tortillas. I think the flour ones wouldn't have been as good. I put some green onions and cilantro on top when I served it. yum!

Buffalo Chicken Burgers with Blue Cheese Dressing

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2010
These were better than I expected. I only used one pound of ground chicken and put some breadcrumbs in the mix to make sure it stayed together well. If I were you, I would double this recipe...it was way too good for only 4 burgers :) And don't forget to toast the buns...makes it that much better.

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2010
This was delicious! I added more red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and omitted the onions because I didn't have any. Also, I used half n half instead of heavy cream.

Fresh Strawberry Upside Down Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2010
Very good! Of course, when I flipped it upside down into another baking pan, it fell apart a little. I just covered it in whipped cream. It tasted great!

Cinnamon Coffee Cake II

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2010
This was delicious! I might try the applesauce instead of the oil next time, to make it lower in fat. And maybe some sugar free pudding next time. It was way too good to stop eating!

Oven Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2009
This was so good! I lined my metal 10x14 pan with foil and dripped the olive oil, 1/3 cup over all the potatoes. I seasoned them with the soup mix, garlic, paprika, pepper. They were delicious!

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2009
This was sooo good! I used the cheap Jiffy crust, and used those directions to cook it. Make sure you grease the pan. I prebaked the crust, then put on just enough ranch to cover crust, bout 1/2 cup. Put the already cooked and seasoned chicken/hot sauce mixture on top. I used Ken's hot wing marinade and a little Franks. Put some cheddar AND moz on top. Cooked about 20 minutes, until the crust was just perfect. Then I put a little more Franks on top. It was DELICIOUS.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2009
These were EXCELLENT! I decided to bake half and fry half. The ones we fried were MUCH better. If you do bake them, make sure you grease your pan a lot. I baked them on a cookie sheet for 45 minutes, flipping once and the skin stuck to the sheet like crazy! I used Ken's hot sauce marinade and butter on the baked batch, and butter and Franks on the other (fried batch) The sauce was perfect, add more or less depending on what you like. I will definitely be using this again and again. Just in time for football too!!

Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with Garlic Mayo

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2009
This was pretty good. I used some leftover steak I had cooked and sliced it up with seasoning etc. I used mayo on the bread and added the garlic powder. I probably will add more next time though. I recommend NOT toasting the bread. I used hoagies and they came out looking perfect, but they were just hard and distracted from meat and cheese inside. But I did add some blue cheese crumbles, that was really yummy! Also used provolone and some cheddar with portabello mushrooms.

Chicken and Cheese Stuffed Jumbo Shells

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2009
This was SOOO yummy. I used shredded chicken I had left over. Seasoned it with garlic, oregano, etc. Added a spoonful of cream cheese (sour cream would work too) mixed it all together and filled the shells. Definitely use the biggest shells, I had the medium size and it took forever to fill them all :) Used spaghetti sauce on top. Perfect!
