About this Cook
At age 60 life was good-I caught my biggest fish ever, 40" northern, got my motorcycle license, adopted the best dog ever, a pittie shelter mix. At 62 I was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. My goal in life is to raise awareness of the vague symptoms so hopefully others get diagnosed sooner. Remember BEAT. Bloating for more than 2 weeks, Eating regularly feeling full after eating little amounts, Abdominal pain, Trouble with bladder or urinary problems. There are NO tests for ovarian cancer. Almost a year after the last chemo I am a lucky one and cancer free. Still having checkups every 3 months. Please pay attention to your body and what it is telling you.
My favorite things to cook
Love cooking comfort foods. Trying new foods. Especially preservative free mixes. Anything with jalapenos.

Cheddar Chipotle Bread on a Pizza Stone
Very labor intensive time consuming recipe but well worth the effort. The family loved it. It made a wonderful toast too. I know the dough won't be as good but I am going to try adding the cheeses and chipotle to thawed and raised frozen bread dough letting it raise again.
