Spaghetti Carbonara II

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2012
Perfect - Loved this - just mixed the cheese and eggs together before adding them to the pasta as some reviewers had recommended, as my only change. LOVED this recipe - easy- and everyone even my picky son enjoyed this - everyone was in agreement that this was a "make again recipe"

I added a little onion powder and 1 clove of minced garlic, which was my only minor change. WOW! this recipe is awesome for sure. I will try fat free cream cheese next time to alleviate my guilt.

The only thing I liked about this was the consistency of this. This did not appeal to my taste.

Hamburger Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2012
Only change I made to this was using beef broth instead of consomme, as I didn't have the latter on hand. It was great- the lemon juice really adds that something special to this recipe. My son originally turned up his nose but had 3 helpings so I will be making this again - thank you Aline!

Turkey Pot Pie

I used the crescent rolls on top as one reviewed had suggested, and loved this. What was really good was the seasoning mixture that is used, very yummy and tasty. I will be making this again for sure.

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2011
This was just ok, not quite what I was expecting. It was quite moist and fell off the bone. Instead of using this as a method to prepare chicken for a main dish, I will use it as a way to prepare a chicken to be used in soups, and chicken salads.

Unbelievable Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2011
Great marinade - I made it just as it was written and everyone enjoyed the results. I marinaded the chicken overnight, then placed 2 chicken breasts with some marinade into a freezer bag and froze. Now I have several meals ready to be pulled out and grilled when needed. This is a keeper!

Playgroup Granola Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2011
Great recipe. Just what I was looking for, a substantial and healthy alternative to the granola bars I had been buying at the grocery store. I did substitue 1/2 c. applesauce for 1/2 of the oil. Decreased the brown sugar to 1/3 cup, added almonds, and increased the cinnamon to 1 tsp, with a pinch of alspice. Baked for 18-20 minutes. This is a keeper of a recipe -thanks for posting and sharing. I have also made it as is was written, both options are great. I have a hard time staying away from them.

Coffee Shop Corn Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2011
AWESOME! I made this exactly as written, and placed in a 8" square pan - baked at 400 for approimately 20 minutes. Everyone loved this, and have said "yes" to making it again. I might try substituting applesause for 1/2 the oil next time. Otherwise I won't be changing anything on this, throw out those box mixes, you won't go back to them, once you make this.

Southern Pulled Pork

Great to come home after being gone all day and smell this terrific recipe cooking in the crock pot. I just put it all in together as some other reveiwers had stated, and it was fantastic. Next time I will increase the smoke flavor, and decrease the cajun flavor for something different, but there will be a repeat appearance of this one - very good -thanks for sharing!

Cranberry Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2010
Yep, this is a keeper. I made this for a gathering and am sharing the recipe today with friends. I made it as it is written, I spread the cream cheese on a platter and served with a choice of pretzals or the pretzal/townhouse crackers. I will use 3/4 c. sugar next time. You won't be disappointed in the sweet-salt combination of this option.

This was a breeze to make, I also cut back on the celery salt and increased the Parmesan just a little. This went fast! Next time I'm going to add some puffed cheetos for a diferent texture.
