Valentino's Pizza Crust

This was fantastic pizza crust!! I have tried a lot of recipes, and this is the best. Nice, soft, chewy, tasty. I did add some spices to the dough and used rapid rise (what I had on hand at the time), but I don't think that affected it much. Trying it again with a tad bit of whole wheat flour in place of some white. I found it to be QUITE sticky and a pain in the tush to work with, so will propably add 1/4c more flour so that it's more managable.

Cinnamon Rolls II

These were fabulous! Simple & quick. Few minor alterations: 1c whole wheat flour, 2 white plus 2tb wheat gluten, 1tb ground flax & 2tb wheat germ. I make it in my stand mixer, warmed the water, butter & milk to 120 degrees then added the yeast and let sit for 10mins. Only used 2tbsp butter which was more then enough, and added a bit of brown sugar to the cinnamon/sugar mixture. Let sit in the fridge over night and baked in the morning. I was skeptical because they were so easy, but they were fantastic! My husband who doesn't often prefer homemade over store bought asked for more!!

Wild Rice Soup I

I made a few changes based on other reviews. Added more rice & chicken, used less butter. 1/2 tsp of parsley 1/2 tsp of thyme, used fat free half-n-half & two stalks of celery and two carrots, only half of a small white onion & some black pepper. It was fantastic!! Will definitely make again!

Best Brownies

This is an awesome recipe!! I read through a lot of the reviews, and I agree it is a bit fugdey, but still awesome. My husband, the king of prepackaged foods, also loved them. I don't think I'll buy boxed brownies again!

White Cake Frosting I

I have been looking for a GOOD white frosting recipe, and have tried several. I tried this one expecting it to be like the rest and was completely blown away! It's so quick and easy, but PERFECT! Exactly what I was looking! Sugar and sweet, perfect consistency. I blended it for about 5mins, I think those who had consistency problems probably didn't blend it long enough. I had no problems putting it on cooled AND warm cookies, no melting whatsoever. It taste very much like that yummy frosting you get at a bakery, I will probably never use another recipe again!
