This is the best homemade pancake recipe I have ever made from the site. Love them. My husband loves them. I added peaches as I made them individually. Wonderful.

Spicy Chinese Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2013
The flavor and taste of these were wonderful. We will defintly make again. I did mine a little different. I really wanted to try this but only had chicken tenders so used that instead of wing. I marinated them for about 4-5 hours; then took out of the marinate and coated lightly in flour and fried them up. Super good and so easy. We love General Tso; its nice and crispy so wanted to get the same effect. My husband could not stop saying how much he liked the taste and flavor that were in these. Served with homemade shrimp fried rice. Great combo. Thanks

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2013
This was so tasty and easy to make it. Threw it in the crock pot yesterday AM; then added the soup , cream cheese; and added some milk to make it the right consistancy. Served over noodles. Yummy. One thing was - did not have the Dressing; but really wanted to make this. So I went to this site and search and found the 'Italian Dressing Mix' cut it in half and used that recipe. I did not use the salt and was not needed. Will make again.

Salmon with Fruit Salsa

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2013
actually 5+ ... I made this for dinner Thursday night and it was sooooo good. I ended up having unexpected company and they loved it too. I mixed the salsa together let sit for a while, and at the end ended up throwing in an avacado and some cilrento. Have added to my favorites and will make again.

Jewel's Watermelon Margaritas

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2012
I have to be honest when I first saw this I thought - Why would you mess up a good margarita with watermelon.... and I LOVE watermelon. But then I accidently froze chopped up watermelon that I was trying to cool quickly. So I thought of this recipe. Made it yesterday while sitting by the pool. I did not have Orange Zest so I threw in some Orange Luquire (sp) I had already made a previous picture of Blue Maragaritas - and thought why not use this for the orange flavoring. They were GREAT; and so cool and refreshing. YUMMY - Great summer Maragarita.

Buckeyes I

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2012
I got this recipe from AR years ago; and make it for family vacation all the time. I have used the semi-ssweet chocolate; but I have also used Dark Chocolate, they are all great that way. Also, I make them small about bite size, and after they set I freeze them on a cookie sheet; then dump in a zip lock bag. They are so good cold, Just take out of freezer and pop in mouth - YUMMYl. Everyone looks forward to them when we go to the beach, and by freezing they travel easy in ice chest, and last a long time.

Sesame Pasta Chicken Salad

Reviewed: May 14, 2012
I came home today and made this for dinner. It was great; made just as written except I cut in half. Just me and my husband. Its wonderful. I added pine nuts and it added a unique flavor to the recipe. I did not shredd the chicken I diced it before I cooked it and sautaed in sesame oil and butter; with garlic powder and season salt. Then chopped again - into small peices. YUMMY

I made this tonight for dinner and we really enjoyed it. I doubled everythiing; even tho there are just 2 of us and am gald; now we have left overs for lunch tomorrow. We really liked it. Only change was I used a can of Fire-Rasted Chopped tomatoes, not fresh tomatoes; and extra half and half. Great, will make again. OH, served over spaghatti noodles -thanks

Chunky Monkey Pancakes

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2012
I love Chunky Monkey Ice Cream; so when I saw this as todays recipe of the day, I had to make for breakfast. It was sooooo good. I only had chocolate chuncks; so I first poured the mix on the griddle, then add the chips. After cooking I spread a thin layer of peanut buter on the pancakes and added syrup. Yeah, we like the sugar high - LOL. Loved them. Will make again for sure.

Alaska Salmon Bake with Pecan Crunch Coating

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2012
10 stars if I could.... this is to die for. Made it as written, with Panko (sp?) bread crumbs. Oh, did use cilrento instead of parsley, then made a Pico Di Galo to serve along side of it. Also brown rice, fesh corn on the cob, and brussel spouts. It was GREAT - my husband raved all night. I also just used a large salmon, not individual fillets. - Whats nice about this is it is simple enough for dinner, but elegant enought for company. Very impresive.

Scottish Style Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2011
This is AWESOME. I made it exactly like stated. The only thing I did was make up more mashed potatoes to go on top, since we love mashed potatoes. My family all loved it and my husband could not stop raving about how good it was and said that this was a definitely KEEPER. Served with Roasted Asparagus from 'Sam the Cooking Guy' was a huge hit dinner. Will do again, and again......Thank you Don.

Ginger's Shrimp and Grits

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2011
This was absoluely wonderful. We had it last night for dinner and my husband could not stop praising it. I halved the recipe, and it worked fine, althought it would have been just as good to keep the full amount of grits, if not better and easier.. I had large shrimp that I cut into thirds; use the full amount (based on halved) of hotness and after the first surprising 'bite' we decided it had the perfect amount of heat to it. Since there were not much grits I could not layer it, so I just poured some shrimp mixture in the pan and then put grits on top and mixed it up; then I did that again, madce about three 'layers.' - put the cheese on top baked and it came out super. The smell while cooking was so good too. I will make this again and again. Perfect amount of everything. Mine was not soupy at all. UPDATE - made again for my 85 year od parents from NC and they too LOVED it - in fact loved so much they kept complimenting me on it all during the game. I accidently poured all the can including juice into it; but it was fine. Its now in my 'Favorite' Box. Thanks
