Been married to a wonderful husband and father for 35 years. Loves to travel, cook, be with family and friends. Very involved in my religious activities. Love going to the Outer Banks every summer - where I have tried many of my new recies. My two kids are grown and out of the house - one moved to souther California and the other lives very near me. Would love to retire to the beach in NC; but now its hard since my kids are scattered. No grandkids so no pull there.....who knows. Hope to retire in a couple of years. e-mail - carousellady75@gmail.com

My cooking triumphs
I guess the best time was when we had gone to Carabbas and my husband ordered a sausage red sauce dish and loved it, then the next time we went they stopped making it. But the girl knew which dish it was. She got the chief to make it and then I got the name of the dish and found it on the web. Several weeks later when he asked whats for dinner, I said I had a surprise for him. After eating it and saying over and over how wonderful it was, he said was - this is so good I would order this in a resturant. Then when I told him what it was - he said - oh WOW - well this is better than theirs.
My cooking tragedies
Right after we were married - 1975 - I tried a new recipe using a pressure cooker. I did not know that you had to brown the chicken first. Needless to say it looked horrible. We could not get past that part and ended up just going out. We still laught about it till today.
