Basil Chicken and Pasta

Used Half & Half instead of heavy cream, since that was what I had on hand. Amazing! Even my 1 1/2 yr old wanted seconds... this one's definitely a keeper and super fast easy tasty meal!

Scallop-Topped Portabello Mushrooms

This was a great new way to incorporate scallops into a meal besides broiling. I enjoyed it, my husband raved about it. It definitely made us a special Valentine's Day meal.

Old Fashioned Potato Salad

I made this recipe as described, and it was extremely dry and flavorless. There was no way I was going to serve it to my guests. After adding more mayo, garlic, and some italian salad dressing, etc., it came out great and I got great feedback, however I'm rating the recipe as it was written and made so many changes that I can't credit the great outcome to this recipe.

Red Cabbage Salad II

I've been looking for some time for a recipe like this one, which is in a vinagrette and is not sweet like the more popular recipe. I had something like it when I was a kid and my grandparents took me to a restaurant that served this. It made an impression! And this is exactly how I remember it. Thank you!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Recipe is great and easy as is. I only gave it four stars because Tilapia tastes like dirt? Maybe I am just not a fan of Tilapia but I have more in the freezer and am not thrilled to use it. I would use this recipe again with a different kind of fish.

Apple-Cinnamon Baked French Toast

Great, easy recipe which is totally yummy! I chopped the bread and apples and just threw them in altogether, poured the liquid mixture over and then sprinkled the remaining cinnamon mixture on top (after stirring the first half in with the apples). Came out great and it was gone before I could blink.

Thai Chicken with Basil Stir Fry

Wonderful, easy recipe, even though I used plain old white mushrooms and less basil because I didn't have enough on hand. My husband & I loved this, but had to find some chicken nuggets in the freezer for my 2 yr old.

Ham and Broccoli Au Gratin

Very easy and tasty, a great way we used up our leftover Christmas ham. I didn't have the special broccoli pkgs, but I prefer fresh so I steamed my own, seasoned with salt & pepper, and added 1 extra cup of cheese to the filling. The rolls were a little gooey on the bottom, didn't bother me but I might go past the 25 min cooking time a little bit next time. Great recipe!

Hash Brown and Egg Casserole

I made this exactly as the recipe describes, and it just did not taste good to me. My husband, who isn't picky at all, didn't even eat the left overs and I ended up tossing them which is a rare occasion in our house.

Simple BBQ Ribs

These did taste really good, but my husband and I both wanted our ribs crisped up on the grill for a few minutes to give it that realy BBQ flavor. Also, the recipe doesn't state how long to boil the ribs. I boiled mine for 45 min, but it needed more time. Maybe an hour or more.

Grilled Venison Backstrap

Made this for Thanksgiving dinner... let me just say it was the best Thanksgiving dinner our entire family has ever had. And we had some pretty cruel skeptics when they found out we were having venison, and not turkey. No one remembered turkey existed after this meal. Amazing, thank you for a wonderful recipe!

Curried Chicken

Weirdest recipe ever (curry + canned soup?), but DELICIOUS and FAST. My husband loved this even better than a time consuming curry I made from this site. If I can please him with a LOT less work, I'm headed for this one, no brainer! Try it!
