Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2011
I've made this twice now, and I'm amazed at the simplicity and the great flavor this recipe brings! The only addition I make is a can of cream of mushroom soup, as well as the cream of chicken. I also let the chicken cook in the soups for four hours on the low setting, and add the cream cheese the last half hour of cooking. Cheap, easy, and literally takes 3 mins to throw in the crock pot!

Potato Salad Deviled Eggs

Made it for a BBQ and it was a huge hit! I don't think I'll ever make regular deviled eggs again! Easy and inexpensive.

Slow Cooker Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: May 23, 2011
I made this for a dinner party and it was such a hit that I had no left overs! The crock pot is great b/c it doesn't heat up the house, so it was a win/win. I too used about a tbs of red pepper flakes, and it gave it just the right amount of kick. I served it on a bed of white rice, and spooned the juices on top of it.

Turkey Brine

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2011
Will never, never ever bake a turkey again without doing this critical step again! The turkey literally fell apart, and was so moist/juicy! Guests were full, and still going back for thirds. I wish I could rate this 10 stars.

Baked Cod

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2011
Eh, it was just ok. Not a ton of flavor..and it was hard to sufficiently coat the fish using ranch dressing, and it was a mess. I liked the idea, but I think I'll take a few extra calories and use egg white next time.

Creamy Shrimp Scampi

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2011
Very, very delicious and seemed to be beyond restaurant quality. Like some other reviewers, I also added scallops, and cooked them the same way I prepared the shrimp.

Italian Meatballs

Followed the directions, (used less meat however), and it came out perfect. My boyfriend acted like a true swine and ate like a starved person. Thank you!

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2010
Super easy to make! I rubbed the chuck roast down in olive oil and Ms. Dash steak seasoning and threw it into the crock pot w/o touching a frying pan. I took the advice of other comments and added baby carrots and red potatoes about halfway thru the day, (with the exception of the onion--that I added in the beginning along with freshly minced garlic), and I even threw in some diced green pepper which gave it amazing flavor. My boyfriend raved! Great for those on a budget as well.

Buzzsaw's BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2010
Wow! It's well known that I'm a rookie when it comes to bbq'ing, but everyone raved on the great flavor of my chicken! I do recommend letting your chicken sit overnight in a pot filled with 7up. Makes the chicken super tender!

Baked Potato Soup V

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
I took the other reviews into consideration before making this recipe, and I'm glad I did. I used real bacon, low fat sour cream, 5 cups of fat free milk and 1 cup chicken broth, and did not add any salt. I also baked the potatoes in the oven after lightly coating them with olive oil and a little salt. It retains the nutrients better, and after scooping out the potato out of them, I cut up about half of the skins and added them to the mixture. Hence..with the bacon and skins, no salt necessary. It will be sure to be a huge hit at the superbowl party today! Thank you!

Rosemary Mashed Potatoes and Yams with Garlic and Parmesan

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2007
It was a huge hit on Thanksgiving, but everyone agreed that 1/2 cup of fresh rosemary was too much. In fact, next time I make it I will cut it in half. Other than that......mom wants the recipe so that means it was good!
