Awesome Spicy Beef Kabobs OR Haitian Voodoo Sticks
Super tasty, not as spicy as you might think. Did them in my Geo Forman grill. Put red bell peper, mushrooms and onion between meat cubes. 5 min on the grill and they were awesome. Thanks, Eating Indy, for a simple and tasty recipie. Thanks

Hummingbird Cake
Hummingbird cake is new to me. Sounded so good, thought I would give it a try. One of the best we've had in a long while. It's a cousin of carrot cake. Very easy, well writen recipe. Followed the recipe up to the nuts,(Hubby can't eat them) I used coconut. It may be better with nuts or maybe both. I baked for 50 min, watch not to over bake. Very moist and serves at least 12. Thanks for sharing a wonderful recipe.

These will make a great addition to my recipe box. These were so easy and didn't take long at all. I had left over pulled pork and just added the spices called for, put it in the oven for about 20 minutes and I was good to go. I found the dough to be a little dry. I used Crisco instead of lard and that could account for it. Served with Salsa and sour cream it made a nice change of pace. I will definitely make these again.
