Yellow Clooney Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2011
We made cupcakes out of this recipe. They were light, moist, and fluffy. The perfect texture! The only change I made was to add extra vanilla. We'll be using this recipe again.

Apple Crisp with Oat Topping

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2015
BF said this is the best dessert I've ever made. It's deliciously simple and so tasty. I did add a tsp of vanilla to the crumble topping and about 1/4 cup of chopped pecans. Add some caramel drizzle and homemade vanilla ice cream - perfection.

Grandma's Banana Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2011
This was fabulous as is! Mine cooked longer than 60 minutes in a 9X13 - probably closer to 75 minutes. This will be my new go-to banana bread recipe. Next time, I'm going to try using 2 cups sugar and 1 cup brown sugar.

Mushroom Rice

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2008
We loved this recipe! I used canned mushrooms because that's all I had and used chicken bullion instead of broth. If I'm giving it 5 stars with those changes, I can't wait to try it with fresh mushrooms and real chicken broth.

Mom's Turkey Sausage Patties

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
These were great. I will never buy sausage again...why would I when I can make this? So much healthier and sooo very tasty. I used heaping spoonfuls on my measurements (except the cayenne). Perfect!

Holiday Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2010
This was really good, better than I expected. I never would have thought to put dried cranberries in my chicken salad. I didn't have green onion so I used red, and I didn't use the green pepper because I don't like it. I'll definitely make this again!

Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2009
Yummers! We used the exact ingredients except we omitted the nuts. I baked this on a jellyroll pan and left 1/2 inch on the edges for expansion. I baked at 350* for 25 minutes - covered with foil the last 5 minutes to keep the edges from browning too much. We'll be making this often. I'm looking forward to making this into an ice cream cookie cake for my son's birthday as suggested by another review. :) Excellent stuff.

Avocado Pineapple Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2011
This was delicious! I served it with a simple tilapia and squash soup. I couldn't keep my spoon out of the salad bowl while the fish was cooking. My sweetie asked for this to be put on the regular rotation.

Marshmallow Icing

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2008
This was great! I made it exactly as written and it turned out perfectly. We had it with a plain ole white cake and it couldn't have been better.

Lemon Crinkles

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
These are amazing. I don't even have the 2nd pan out of the oven yet. I was concerned because I realized too late that I didn't have cream of tarter, so I omitted the COT and the baking soda and just used baking powder. I wish I had made a double batch. We are in heaven. Thank you, Sueb for my new favorite cookie!

Gobble Up Granola Snacks

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2008
These are awesome and will become a regular snack at my house. We subbed pecans for the raisins (because no one at my house likes them), we used honey in places of the corn syrup and used 2/3 cup brown sugar.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2014
Holy heck, this is fantabulous. The only changes I made were to double the garlic, double the sauce, and I used 1/2 white sugar and 1/2 brown sugar. My BF said this was one of the best things I've ever made. Definitely making it again!

Ranch Dressing II

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2009
This is great. I used 1/2 cup buttermilk, 1/2 cup mayo, 1/2 cup sour cream. The only other change I made was to add a little more garlic powder. Good stuff, and I'll be making this every time I need ranch dressing.

Refreshing Lemon-Ginger Dressing

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2015
Such a refreshing light dressing. I served it over a simple salad with romaine, broccoli, onion, and bell pepper. This dressing would be wonderful over a salad with some chopped cooked chicken breast.

Cream of Mushroom Soup I

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2008
This was very good. I added a couple of cloves of garlic - but I add garlic to nearly everything I make. Other than that, I didn't make any changes. It was easy to make and tasted delicious. I'll be making it again.
