Light Oat Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2008
Wonderful bread! I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out perfectly. My kids like it better than any other bread that I've made - it makes great sandwiches and this morning it made the best cinnamon toast. I will definitely be making this one again.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

My family loves these cookies! The only change that I made was to add a teaspoon of vanilla. I will definitely be making these again.

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2008
Wonderful soup!!! My family loved it. I didn't have any half and half in the house so I used heavy cream and I reduced the amount of basil to 1/2 teaspoon. Next time, I'm going to double the recipe so I can have more leftover. YUM!

Basic Baked Spaghetti

Easy and yummy. What a great way to use up all that leftover spaghetti! Thanks for the great basic recipe. We'll make this one again at my house.

Hot Fudge Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2008
This is one of our favorite desserts - we serve it with vanilla ice cream and chopped pecans on the side (not everyone in my house loves pecans as much as I do so I don't bake them in it). Also, I mix the flour mixture in the 9 X 9" pan so there aren't as many dishes to clean. Yum yum!

Easy Lasagna II

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2008
Amazing! So easy! Made it almost exactly as the recipe states but I only had one egg so I used only one egg and added a little oil to help with the binding. Everyone in my little family ate more than 1 helping and over half of the pan was gone. This is going in my regular dinner rotation schedule!

Curly Noodle Pork Supper

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2008
We liked this recipe. We don't care for red peppers so we used water chestnuts instead. The original recipe said that it would feed 3 and were feeding 5 so we added another package of ramen, doubled the pork, added extra broccoli, soy sauce and green onion. It was quite tasty - quick and inexpensive. Just the way we like them. :)

Chicken Spaghetti III

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2008
This was really good. My picky youngest child loved it and asked for it to be put on the regular menu rotation. I added a little garlic and used 1 lb of velveeta. I already had cooked chicken in the fridge so this was a quick easy dinner. Delish!

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2008
The taste on this was okay, but we really couldn't stand the texture. But what else did I expect from a slow-cooker stuffing...

Mushroom Rice

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2008
We loved this recipe! I used canned mushrooms because that's all I had and used chicken bullion instead of broth. If I'm giving it 5 stars with those changes, I can't wait to try it with fresh mushrooms and real chicken broth.

Lemon Garlic Tilapia

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2008
I used extra garlic - this was good and I'll make it again, but I guess I'm not a big fan of lemon. My BF loved it (I cooked 6 filets and he ate 2-1/2 of them) and my 13 year old son has already requested that I make it again. My 11 year old son and I thought it was "okay" but not great.

Fried Cabbage II

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2008
Someone had given me a couple of heads of cabbage and I had no idea what to do with them. This recipe is awesome. I'm looking forward to making it again. The only changes that I made was to add more bacon. Yum!

Cream of Mushroom Soup I

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2008
This was very good. I added a couple of cloves of garlic - but I add garlic to nearly everything I make. Other than that, I didn't make any changes. It was easy to make and tasted delicious. I'll be making it again.

Hash Brown Casserole II

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2008
Loved it! Even the picky eater ate it. He looked at it and didn't want to try it, but once he did, he was hooked. The only changes I made were to use cream of potato soup (it's what I had on hand), I cooked it for an hour and I used french fried onions on top. I can't wait to have the leftovers!

Delish. I've been making my whipped cream this way for years. I wouldn't change a thing.

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2008
This has been a family favorite for years. We call it "corn stuff". The only difference is that I bake mine for an hour in a round casserole dish. Occasionally I'll add a handful of shredded cheese and/or some green chili's and some shredded onion. It's a great recipe that can be quite versatile.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2008
This is the most requested meal at my house. I always add a a little worcestershire sauce and garlic powder before the soup and onion soup mix. IF we have leftovers we usually just toss in some more onion, potatoes, veggies and beef broth and make a soup or stew out of it.

LOVE this recipe. I add a shake or 2 of cayenne pepper to the flour mixture for a little kick. So yum!
